"The enhanced torso musculature allows for upright mobility, and the addition of two physically weak but capable arms allows for the handling of traditional weaponry." - Tygon
I propose to make a slash strike a weaker attack.

You know, said it before, but you guys should really get into helping out with the playable aliens mod. these'd be perfect for Tier 3 Viper armor.

also, Bro, it's Tygan, not a Tiger-Lion hybrid ;) though as for the slash attack, while the arms might be weak, remember you've got about 15-20 feet of snake-coiled inertia behind the blade too (not to mention possibly Servos built into the armor as well) to power the swing.

Couldn't agree more with Arkhangel, getting things like these as playable as well as enemies may well be the deal breaker as to whether I ever actually bother with WoTC.

Well, I'd put it in the comment section, but i can't, kinda still blocked from way back.

First of all I wanna say thank you Team CreativeXenos for making such great mods, I'm about to finish a commander campaign with all of your mods and it's been awesome :D

Now for the bug report, I've opened the game and a message poped "Can't determine which mods were activated" (or something along those lines) - so I reactivated the mods and jumped back into my save file which was at a beginning of a mission. My Psi Op didn't hold his Vorpal Gatling Rifle and my Specialist didn't hold her Beam Gatling Rifle - they were weaponless.
I finished the mission and then I found out that all of my Vorpal Gatling Rifle & Beam Gatling Rifle completly disappeared from my inventory but my Vorpal Blade didn't and also my Armored Viper corpses.

If you need any more information I'll be happy to cooperate :)

Fun fact - when my Specialist "fired" while being weaponless the Riot Rounds still stunned an enemy.

I posted a remark about this in the main comment section. It's my fault that happened, sorrybud.

After I autopsied the Armored Psi Viper, the listing for its sword appears twice in both Tygan's report and Shen's shop.
MrShadow  [developer] 21 Sep, 2018 @ 7:32pm
It shows up in tygans report to show it can now be built after the autopsy and in shens shop for building. The sword and both rifles are single item builds. They are not squad wide builds.

Ah, sorry, I suppose I wasn't clear enough in my last comment. What I meant to say is, the listing for the sword appears as such:

(sword)
(vorpal rifle)
(sword)

it shows up twice if you have Samurai. one's the main weapon, the other's the sidearm. not a bug, it's the "Primary Secondary" version of the weapon. the Celatid Scimitar does the same thing.
Arkhangel 22 Sep, 2018 @ 8:33pm
well, Samurai or PS, one of the two.
MrShadow  [developer] 23 Sep, 2018 @ 8:07am
Ahhhh yes!! As Ark says, it's not a bug. That's from the primary secondaries mod.
