Modify loot amount for less clutter?

Hi so I decided to play torchlight again, but I'm finding the amount of loot a bit overwhelming even in normal synergiesmod. Is there a simple way to remove normal items and increase gold drop rate globally without modifying every single spawnclass?

This is not balanced, there are far to many drops I have to frequently go back or send pet to town to make room in larger pack.
