Try turning off all other addons and see if the problem persists. And if that fixes it, try turning on various addons to see if you can find the issue. You like have some type of addon that breaks the map for some reason or another. Stuff that changes the skybox or atmosphere of maps will break this map.

Then the server likely has addons that break the map. If the hyperspace function does absolutely nothing, then the server is doing something wrong that breaks the map.
Also, just in case it isn't clear. You have to pick a location on the map, and then press the other button to activate hyperspace. Just pressing a location on the map isn't enough.
