Description
A freight train made out of DB Cargo Falns hoppers loaded with coke (the fuel, not that other stuff) and a 1200 series engine in ACTS livery.

25 of these 6 axled powerhouses were build for both passenger and freight train use from 1951 onwards. After ending service with the NS in 1999, 5 were sold to ACTS, who used them until 2009. Today at least two engines are still in service (owned by EETC), one for HSL Logistik and one pulling the 'Panorama Rail Restaurant'. Others are scrapped, in reserve or in a museum.

- 120 km/h
- 9 hoppers, same capacity as a default cargo train.

Yeah, for anyone confusing this with the soda, "coke" is basically coal that's been baked in an extremely high temperature oven in an oxygen-free environment, then doused with water. It's a kind of super-charcoal and used as blast furnace fuel in steel mills.

And it's great that you made a train of it. A boon to anyone modeling a steel mill!

When I saw the name of it at first I was thinking Hmmmm maybe not? But when I clicked on it I was like damn this is a good train! I always use it now.

I meant the fuel, not the cola (or the white stuff). It's often made from coal, but is more pure. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coke_(fuel)
