X Rebirth Sectors

Description
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Requires Split Vendetta DLC.
- Requires new game start. Gates leading to new sectors will be disabled in existing saves.

I started working on this mod a few years back but never got to finish it. Hope you guys like it. This is my first upload to Steam Workshop so hopefully everything works, let me know if issues arise. I've not playtested extensively yet so please let me know if you run into any issues ingame. There should be sufficient factories to keep the economy going but I'm no expert on that regard. It will probably need tweaking. Argon forces will move deeper into Maelstrom, build defence stations and engage Xenon forces.

Included clusters:
Omicron Lyrae (Argon)
-- Eclipse Clouds: Argon Shipyard
-- Commerce Core: Argon Trading Station
-- Radiant Haven: Argon Wharf
-- Devoid Clime: Argon Equipment Dock

Maelstrom (Argon & Xenon)
-- Sigma Sector: Argon Defence Station
-- Blurred Reflection: Empty
-- Sable Vortex: Xenon Defence Station


SPOILER: There's a new jumpgate in Guiding Star V leading to Omicron Lyrae and 2 jumpgates in Maelstrom leading to Matrix #598 and Tharka's Ravine.

I'm planning to add all X: Rebirth sectors in the future if time allows. Please leave suggestions on additional features. I'm thinking of adding new factions like PMC for Albion sectors and integrate it with XR Shippack. I'm also learning MD so I can make missions to unlock the jumpgates instead of instant access, making it feel somewhat like a DLC.

Welcome back Wesley (Realspace here), happy to see you eventually did it. Hope you'll add this to the Nexus too, I will try to make it compatible with my XRSGE mod. I see you had to create the multiple sectors and face the limit of 4 sectors in X4. Wanted to share that I changed approach and made all superhighways inside a SINGLE sector. I was very surprised to see that it si doable, but it is (see inside my xrsge mod). While this creates some floating point error due to the big distances, it allows you to add as many areas you want (more than 4) connected through superhighways, XR style. The space inbetween is real space you can even cross. With Rebirth planet models this is doable, they are 10x smaller than X4 so a system can stay in a big sector of 50-80.000km. Hope it helps ;-)

Great mod. However, I would wait for the new Timeline DLC before adding anything more because of possible conflicts.

DeVries would be such an amazing edition if you can mange it, being that close to a star in the game was amazing and really changed up the atmosphere of XR to me kinda made you feel that you were somewhere where no human should exist.

I fully agree with @daswulf even if by changing the construction system and doing it like this I must say that it is much better since it gives much more creativity in building but this does not take away from the fact that the X Rebirth stations deserve a lot... a game in which I have lost the hours it will not have been the same as x3 mod in the end the problem of having a single flyable ship doesn't even become a problem since you can easily make the Skunk as strong as a cruiser ahahaha how much I miss it
