Merged US States

Popis
Merges some smaller U.S. states together
Maryland, D.C., Delaware -> Maryland
Massachusetts , Rhode Island, Connecticut -> Lower New England
Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire -> Upper New England

Probably not compatible with any mod that changes city locations or state resources.

I got varying requests to add more states, have a version with less states, or to just leave the mod as is. I tried finding a way to select what states are merged but it seems like it isn't possible and a seperate mod would be needed for each variation which would be very time consuming to umake and keep updated.

I added some notes and comments to the files so if anyone wants to make thier own version with more or less merged states you can just copy this mod and make whatever changes you want.

I really like the merged states. Thank you for creating this.
There seems to be a bug though that prevents me from establishing any companies as the US. Could you check why it's not recognizing the building levels?
Also, everyone in the newly merged states starts out unemployed. Though that solves itself within a few months after game start, so it's not critical.

The population in merged staes doesn't spawn employed, making almost a million people unemployed, starving, mad and poor. This also causes for the population to struggle because of high prices of grain.

Given the US flag changes the number of stars with the number of incorporated states, won't this make the flag have 6 fewer stars on it? If so, can you like increment the state count by 6 to compensate for that? It's a cosmetic thing I know, but still.

Very consistent crashing in the 1960s with this mod

Updated the mod and didn't run into any crashes so it should work but if there's any crashes or bugs lmk.

I decided since it would be very time consuming and I have other mod ideas I want to work on that I wont be changing what states are merged right now, but I added some comments in each of the files explaining what steps should be taken if you want to merge more states so if you guys want to merge more copy the mod and just add stuff for the states you want to merge.

Two main issues with this mod:
1. Game crashes more often with this mod. No clue what's causing it. Maybe there's an event trying to call one of the nonexistent states?

2. White House no longer exists. You know that building with the massive bonus to admin centers that we never get to use because you can never get the population to staff the admin centers? That could also stack with a skyscraper if like you also managed to get more population to Washington DC? This is a huge deal-breaker considering one of the main reasons I wanted a mod like this in the first place was to be able to actually use the white house's bonus. Like seriously just merge Maryland and Delaware into DC instead of into Maryland.
