FWA A3 is finished. Thanks for all the fun, see you in Reforger and Arma 4.

Enjoy what we have and the journey we went on, appreciate the scratches and holes and bugs as evidence that this was made by human beings who are imperfect and not professional - that anyone can do this sort of thing if you put the time in, and that time will be defined by what you get out of it, not obligation to others.

The Free World Armoury was a project to help cover as many gaps in the cold war arsenal as possible. Designed to be used as a dependency for faction mods. Pairs great with GM, S&S.

FWA's content has come from a range of sources -scratch built, comissioned or licensed from existing stock sources - given a special treatment of vertex-tweaking, new textures, dynamic sounds and unique functionality to create a cohesive set of weapons that will hopefully add some new angles to your Arma experience.

New! Choose preference for optics between PiP, 3D and 2d - see CBA Addon options (Settings > Addon Options) Then select 'The Free World Armoury'. No32 scope for the No4(T), L8(T) and L42 is the only optic supporting this now, but more to follow!

Is there a mod out there that swaps Iron front weapons for their Free World Armory counterparts? Please Someone lmk because the weapons here are great and imo far better than IFA3's weapons.

I disagree. Cup and Red Hammer have a bunch of high quality modern weapons. While this mod is great, it's not better than RHS and Cup.

Being an admirer of lesser known Cold War firearms like the AA52, Carl Gustaf/Port Sa'id, and FN D, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this mod. I thank you a million for this. The designs are authentique, variants provide all the unique guns I totally need in this game, simply lovely

I know that you're no longer looking forward to making ArmA 3 mods nor polishing them, one thing that throws me off is the weapon stats; I compared ones to Global Mobilization, and the weapon impact & range don't match up, different calibers also have same stats (I was hoping the 30-06 have bigger damage and range than the 7.62 NATO, and the 7.5x55mm having same range as 30-06 but as much damage as the 7.62 NATO for its cartridge proportions), and I wish the ammo from Global Mobilization could be adapted to all 7.62 NATO and 9mm weapons from this addon. Eitherway, I wish you best in the next Arma installments :steamhappy:

You all left an amazing farewell, and I do indeed play Reforger, but this mod is STILL gassed right now. Still GOAT. Still amazing. This was a labor of love, and it shows. Thank you all for the awesome mod! It's a "must have" on my launcher.

I love the mod, but I WISH they had animations to go with the amazing models.
