Gatling guns and missile launchers are weapons of a bygone age. Their firepower is bleak, and their combat rigidity forces any adopting vessel to inherit crippling design flaws. Countless engineers like yourself and I require effective weapons to fight and survive in this universe.

Introducing Assault Weapons Pack! Featuring three dozen armored turrets, and over a dozen fixed cannons, Assault Weapons Pack provides engineers with a deadly arsenal to unleash upon the battlefield. Field multiple rotary autocannons to face down your adversaries in close combat, or unleash a firestorm of flak artillery to block hostile missile barrages. Gun down smaller vessels with light artillery turrets, or overwhelm battleships with swarms of burst missiles. If your opponents are packing heat, arm yourself with a wide variety of heavy turrets. Go big or go home with half a dozen experimental weapons, each guaranteed to punch holes in any opposing vessel.

New in v1.61 is a custom progression system! Create unique components in the Progression Terminal, build progression nodes, and unlock weapons! This system is entirely non-intrusive, customizable in difficulty, and completely optional! Assembler efficiency controls resource and time costs, and the entire progression system can be ignored by disabling progression in the world settings.

  • Assault Weapons Pack does not override any vanilla values, and is compatible with nearly all other weapon mods.

    • 80mm flak shells feature proximity detonation
    • 220mm Burst Missile and 800mm Strike Torpedo become guided muntions.
    • Vanilla+ is not required, and can be added/removed from worlds and servers at any time.

Very excited to hear about the laser weapons especially with some of these new shield mods.
Just curious, any thoughts on adding a large cruise missile that is guided to AW? Similar to ones you see on real destroyers?

This is a Space Engineers bug I can't fix on my end. You'll have to keep the Shoot Once method in mind, as it's the only simple workaround I'm aware of.

Those weapons were created during Outlands' 2nd and 3rd seasons, respectively, and were slowly adopted following due to Outlands' refit guidelines.f you want more info on the weapon side of Outlands, I'd suggest you join the Discord server. It's linked in the description of most Outlands episodes.

Forgive me for being too stupid but its late, I want to put this on my server, what line do I need to change in what config file for the progression to be turned off? Since I dont just have it listed in any settings when Im hosting via some platform.

what are the ranges of all of the weapons? in the terminal they go up to around 800m for the ai, but for manual control they go further, can the weapon range be stated in the info about the weapon to make it clearer?

Amazing mod! Thanks for bringing a vanilla weapon pack! I left a comment on a possible bug in the bugs section and things aside, I wanted to ask, is there is any consideration to lower the volume of the turrets and guns? I get the feeling all sounds are waaaay too high in contrast to vanilla weaponry.

I have a question. I watch outlands but I can't understand the weapons in that series. There is weapons like 800mm torpedoes, 640 batteries, and other weapons, but you guys never use them. Is there like a rule against that or something, cause I would appreciate an answer.

having an issue with turrets not firing even when in range they have access to ammo but still arent firing or even aiming at a target they on seem to aim and fire when i activate the shoot button
