LoW - Blood Legion Mixed Warriors

Description
New female Dark Elves Units

A mix beetwen Sisters of Slaughter and Witch Elves, these new units are clad in armor and give you more options on how you play the Dark Elves, being capable of forming a solid battleline and destroying the enemy with range, smashing them in melee, or mising up monsters and cavalry.
Resistant and well armoured, they will scale with everything related to Sisters of Slaughter, the ranged units will also use some upgrades from darkshards tech/skills, they will only use the upgrades that increase ammo/missile damage or range. Units are recruited from the same building chain you recruit Witch Elves and Death Hags.

Unit List by Tiers:
Tier III:
  • DreadSwords, Archers and Duellists are the first infantry options that will compose your new force.
  • Sword Knights anti-infantry cavalry that can take a beating.
Tier IV:
  • Dread Dancers are armed with halberds, lightly armored and deadly against infantry.
  • Dread Reavers act as a skirmish cavalry unit also capable of good melee once it's done raining arrows on the enemy.
Tier V:
  • Cold Knights are a version of the Dread Cold Knights, they are armed with halberds and capable of trampling infantry and good i prolonged melee combat.
  • Manticore Knight A tamed obbedient manticore that is capable of causing havoc in the enemy lines.

New female and male Vampire Counts Units

Adding new units to the VC roster, they aren't like anything else in the roster. They are still "human" so they aren't just shambling corpses that will crumble as soon as their master is dead, the drawback is not being able to be healed as you would with skeletons.

New Building Chains
Vampire Counts
You can build 2 separate building chains from which you can recruit the new units, they will give bonuses that are a mix beetwen vanilla buildings and new effects. This is so you don't have to sacrifice the vanilla building choices for a slot that adds only recruitable units and this way you will not get a crowded UI with indistinguishable unit cards.
These chains will also add a small garrison of the mod's units to help the AI or you defend the region they are build in.

New Tech Trees
To improve the VC units you can use the new research available in the side new tech trees, through these you will unlock bonuses to your units, new attributes and skills that can change how you play with them. Put some time to upgrade them and they can progress from the early game to the end-game and keep up even with other races elites.

Unit List:
Female Units
  • Warriors, are the starting melee options, pretty basic at the start but will get stronger.
  • Guardians the line holding kind of unit.
  • Sentinels are archers, and don't worry if you don't like ranged units for VC you can not use them and the AI will never get them.
  • Knights cavalry unit, a mix beetwen Grail Guardians and Chaos Knights.
  • Cold Knights from over the pond, comes a gift from Naggarond.

Male Units:
Tier II:
  • Swordsmen, Halberdiers are basic infantry that come with custom passives, and they will be upgradable greatly with the eventual tech tree
  • War Wolves simple fast units with vanguard deployment
Tier III:
  • Knights become recruitable in 2 variants, either with lances or with swords to suit 2 different roles.
  • Siege Breakers are a specialist unit, heavily armored, rather slow but almost impervious to ranged fire while they approach the enemy. They are siege attackers and can beat anything while fighting on walls. The perfect unit to take fortified settlements.
Tier IV:
  • Challengers are akin to Swordmasters of Hoeth, devasting against infantry and with good weapon strength they can easily take down anything. They come as mounted cavalry aswell should you need a faster option.
Tier V:
  • Demigryph Knights are unlocked as Lancers or Halberdiers, good vs infantry/large capable of crushing multiple smaller targets at once they are the best boys in the roster.

  • Finish the male part of the VC new units
  • Do all the new tech for VC
  • Do the last techs missing
  • Polish the Dark Elves roster
  • Balance the entire roster of units accounting for each other
  • New Heroes!

  2. I will not personnally make compability patches with other big overhaul mods, if you want to make your own patch feel free to contact me, i'm easy to reach.
  3. Translation mods are welcome just link and have the original mod as a requirement.
  4. The mod will work 100% of the time in vanilla, crashes when using other mods are not my responsability. I try to make the mod as compattible as possible but something can go wrong, if it crashes try launching the mod on it's own first and then see what mods you could be using that conflict.

Why do the Siege Breaker among the other units as well take attrition while outside vampire corrupted territory? That doesnt make any sense seeing as they are living units right?

Looks like I can't recruit the captains while playing Kaylica's Lahmian faction. They work fine with the von Carsteins, though.
