More Vehicles

Description

This mod increases the limit of spawned vehicles. The vanilla game allows at most 16,383 moving vehicles and at most 32,767 parked vehicles.

Want more?

With More Vehicles, up to 65,535 moving vehicles and up to 65,535 parked vehicles are possible.
Make sure you have a fast CPU and a powerful graphics adapter!

Note that these vehicle number limits include not only cars and trucks, but also public transport (trams, trains, airplanes, metro, ferries, ...), service vehicles, blimps, and so on. More vehicles - more fun, and better service!

Important notice

This mod affects the save game! You will not be able to load your city, if you save it with this mod enabled and then disable or unsubscribe from the mod! Make a backup copy of your city if you want to try More Vehicles. Or just save your city to another file. You can load your existing cities or create new ones.

About incompatibilities

Any incompatibilities must be fixed in mods which cause the conflict. The More Vehicles mod changes the game's core, so other mods need to take that into account.

There is no way for me to solve incompatibilities.

You may report mod conflicts in the comments, but I cannot fix them. Better report all issues to incompatible mods' authors and ask them for a fix!

So far reported incompatibilities:

  • Traffic Manager: President Edition v10 and below ➡ use TM:PE v11+ instead
  • Advanced Vehicle Options v1.8.x and below ➡ use v1.9+ instead
  • Metro Overhaul Mod v10.0.0 and below ➡ use v10.0.1+ instead

This mod is now causing my game to crash for some reason. It wasn't doing that at first, but when I unsubscribed from it, it stopped the crashing, but now I get an "EndDeserialize (VehicleManager)" error and an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error. Also, when my game crashes, no error log or crash file is created either.)

This mod is incompatible with Train Blocking Signals mod, apparently due to an issue in this mod that they can't compensate for. would it be possible to make them compatible?

I've been having this problem where all vehicles won't go on a certain stretch of highway. After having the game open for about 15 minute this will happen. Any ideas on what I can do to fix it? Started happening soon after I got this.

Is there a mod that reduces vehicles?

 Be careful, the game may crash when loading a save, in the last step (80-100%), when going to "Vehicle.simulation" after disabling this mod.
Crash give massege: EndDeserialize (VehicleManager) target!

It seems the problem causes due to 0Harmony.dll file. I tried offline version. Older 0Harmony.dll causes some bugs however at least it can be seen in city limits. However the newer version directly ignores the limit. Please at least add an explanation how to fix it.

This stopped working for me. I don't know when exactly, but I just realized I have no more cargo traffic in the city and all commerce is collapsing. I need this mod back or my city is unplayable.

Doesn't work. The mod seems activated in the main menu, but doesn't seem in my current save.
