Thanks to NotFood for updating Base Robots to B18: https://github.com/notfood/RimWorld-BaseRobots

The original mod author has been gone for half a year. I helped give ideas to this mod and I was going to make a robot.

Anyways this mod is being uploaded as is. Feel free to post an messages on NotFood's github if there are issues with the mod.

The github in the original info box includes a tutorial for making robots yourself. I believe the tutorial should still work but some of the xml might be wrong in terms of upper and lower casing since the tutorial was created for A17.

Damaged bots can not be repaired. If someone that is more talented than me would like to create a mod that allows you to repair bots the code for the mod is at the github website.

Damaged robots need to be destroyed and then deconstructed using a workbench that can dissassemble mechanoid corpses. Make sure you modify your storage spaces to allow Base Robot robots to be stored there.

I don't plan on updating to 1.0. I would really love too but I wasn't the one that created this mod or the one that updated this mod to B18.

Feel free to use this mod and update it yourself to 1.0. FAIR WARNING! This mod was unfinished and therefore will be the same if it was a direct port to 1.0

Hello, My actual base is quite big and my pawns are not able to haul all the things. it would be very cool to get a haul robot. now i´ve seen that you have everything that would be needed. The Robotworkbench and crafting the parts is so cool. Please update this to 1.3.


I tried it on 1.3, everything is fine, except that the robot is not shown in the area bar and can´t be activated. please update this cool mod.

The guide to make a robot is somewhat out of date... gave up 1/3rd of the way when i realized that.

PLEASE update the guide too.
Like to replace Misc. Robots and Misc. Robots++ With just 1 robots instead of 20-some robots that i never use.

Wanted to make a Universal Robot, but due to what appears to be an outdated guide, i gave up.

Well I was hoping for 1.0. I'd do it myself except I have no modding skills lol. I really love the cleanbot.

@Joelio, the author doesn't intend to update the mod. Which is totally his right. I would absolutely have at it, despite no experience with modding, if I had a computer that could run the software, as it's pretty much my favorite mod and I'm sad every time I play that I don't have it anymore. So I'm hoping someone else takes a stab at the update for this, and the cleaning and hauling bots that require it.
