This game is an absolute must for any shoot em up fans. It's got tons of replayability, offers a tough challenge to genre vets, and tons of casual fun for people who just want to blow ♥♥♥♥ up.

Currently this game feels like the shadow of what it originally wanted to be. It's got the most basic framework of a potentially good game, but right now the elements are all scattered.

A failure of game design on nearly every level. I couldn't find any enjoyment in this game in 2 hours of playing. This game is a Metal Gear game in name alone, and has no right to bare the title.

It's Super Meatboy meets Spelunky. Dodge tons of traps in masterfully randomized levels while trying to make your way to the end.

The anti-survival game. A top notch action adventure title that doesn't get bogged down by its survival mechanics. Addictive and satisfying.

The natural evolution of Sonic the Hedgehog. Amazing visuals, A+ levels, solid voice acting and a good plot (even if the dialog can be cheesy at times).

While not a game for roguelike veterans, this is the perfect starting point for anyone brand new to the genre. Go play Dungeons of Dredmor next!
