Why Early Access?

“We are going Early Access in order to utilize the immense talent and eagerness of the community to make great games come to life.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Bleak will remain in early access until we feel it is stable enough for a Gold release. We believe this will be approximately 1 year after early access launch but as game development goes this timeline could shift in either direction.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Bleak will start at the baseline with features such as mining, building bases, repairing damaged systems, some weather and a fully procedural day/night system.

The first few versions of Early Access will be single player only. CO-OP and other forms of multiplayer will be added in as we progress.

As we progress we will add things from our timeline into the Early Access version until we believe its feature complete and ready for full 1.0 release.

We may add and remove things from the timeline as we progress and gather feedback from you, our fans.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us on our forums or via our Discord.

The full version of Bleak will contain all the roadmap items and possibly many more features depending on fanbase wants and needs.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Bleak currently has single player with base construction, mining, fully procedural day/night cycle and sandstorms.

Please keep in mind that Bleak is currently very pre-alpha and unstable so expect many bugs and issues.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“During early access we will have a slightly higher price, this is to hopefully weed out players that are looking for a more final and polished product and are less interested in assisting with long term development of the final product.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Through the entire development process players are invited to engage with us on our website as well as here on the Steam community. We will do our best to address each and every issue that comes along.”

EARLY ACCESS: Bleak is currently in early access, that means you should expect numerous bugs and unstable client builds. You should also expect to see us interacting with you, the player in making Bleak the best possible experience for as many as possible. We know we cant make everyone happy but we will try our best to make it an overall great game.

Don't be shy with your ideas either, we love hearing them. Even if you think its a silly idea, it may spark an even better version based on that idea.
