Major Update(Demo): New Battle System!

Greetings Leaders,

We’ve completely revamped how battles work in CivRise Demo!
Now you can recruit your own armies and send them into epic fights for glory and survival. This adds a new layer of strategy to your civilization’s journey, who you recruit and how you fight will shape your rise to greatness.

What’s New

Army Recruitment: Train and manage your forces before sending them into battle.
Deeper Strategy: Battles now rely on how you build and balance your army.
Recommended Reset: If you’ve already completed the game in previous versions, we suggest resetting your progress to fully enjoy the new system.
Improvements: General optimizations and bug fixes for smoother gameplay.

We’re excited to see how you’ll lead your armies and civilizations with this new update. As always, your feedback is incredibly valuable, let us know what you think in the community hub or on Discord!

Broken UI

Anyone looking for demo info, skip this one. It's fullscreen only with zero options bc this is a mobile game. Mouse functionality is extremely minimal, the clickable area of the buttons is WAY smaller than the UI graphics indicate, and the sensitivities are WAY off (bc this is a mobile game and they did not take the time to verify functionality). Also this breaks about three minutes into it bc a tutorial popup window is broken and cannot be closed. This one's a skip. It's really only here to redirect you ...

gains /sec and click bug

when i was offline, and come back, my gains are susper low. before i went offline, my gains per second and my click power were much higher. with a click i were getting 100k, now i get 4k...like all bonusses are broken.

Resizing window

There is no option to resize the window (after having to force windowed mode, as the option does not exist under settings). Feel free to update once this is available, and I will then check out the demo.

Offline Progress less than expected

When I come back after half a day, there's barely any progress on techs. Online progress and offline progress don't match...they're not even close. 15 minutes progress gifts are similarly underwhelming. I suspect this is bugged.

Do you like the new battle system or do you prefer the old one?

I’ve reworked the battle system in CivRise based on community feedback. Now, instead of the old system, you recruit army units and send them into battles. If you lose, your units are reset, but if you win, you get to keep them for the next fight. There are also different battle types and army unit types, so picking the right composition can give you advantages (or disadvantages). What do you think about this new approach?
