What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Hello Steam Community,

We are thrilled to introduce Dungeon Invader and share our vision for its development. We believe Early Access is the perfect platform for the ultimate completion of Dungeon Invader for several reasons.

1. Community Feedback
Early Access allows us to communicate with players and gather valuable feedback. By involving the community early, we can understand which features and mechanics resonate the most, identify areas that need improvement, and prioritize development based on your opinions. Your feedback directly influences our development direction and helps us find a common ground for what you want.

2. Iterative Development
Game development is a complex and iterative process. Early Access gives us the flexibility to release regular updates and improvements. This iterative approach allows us to refine gameplay mechanics, balance features, and quickly fix bugs, resulting in a more polished and enjoyable final product.

3. Building a Supportive Community
Launching in Early Access helps us build a dedicated and supportive community from the start. As a small development team, it can be challenging to gather a user community, but Early Access allows us to communicate smoothly with gamers from various countries, which will be the driving force behind our development.

4. Transparency and Trust
I believe maintaining transparency throughout the development process is crucial. By choosing Early Access, I can openly share our progress, challenges, and future plans with you. This transparency fosters trust and allows you to see firsthand how your contributions impact the game.

Our team is committed to ensuring Dungeon Invader makes a meaningful contribution to the deck-building roguelike genre, and Early Access is a vital step toward that goal. Join us on this journey, provide feedback, and help shape the future of Dungeon Invader. Thank you for your support and for being a part of our community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current plan is to maintain Dungeon Invader in Early Access for approximately 6 months. This period is designed to provide ample opportunity to integrate player feedback, improve game mechanics, and add the planned additional content.

During this time, our team will actively engage with the community, release regular updates, and make necessary adjustments based on the feedback received. Our goal is to achieve a level of completion that meets both our and the players' expectations. Accordingly, we are aiming for an official release in the second week of May 2025. However, game development is unpredictable, so the exact period may vary. If more time is needed to implement key features or address important feedback, we will take the necessary time to ensure the highest quality final product.

We appreciate your patience and support as we strive to make Dungeon Invader the best game it can be.”
