About This Demo

Journey the sorrowful spirit world in this soulslike deck builder. Craft cards and claim powerful totems to defeat the woeful spirits lurking in the mystical lands.

The Death Howl demo features:

  • Story introduction – Meet Ro, the game’s protagonist

  • Exploration of the game’s first biome (Forest of Howling Shadows)

  • A deck of cards to craft and use during combat

  • A series of tactical grid-based battles against various opponents

In forgotten lands shrouded by myth, Ro—a hunter from a small tribe—is overcome by grief following the death of her beloved son. Guided by voices from another world, she transcends into the realm of spirits, in hopes of bringing him back.
