About This Software

Retrobator is a nes emulator that brings some fresh features to the table.

Key Features:

  • Timeline - Use the Timeline slider to go back in time, watch again, or restart gameplay.

  • Map - Reveal traversed areas of the game by zooming out or by using a wide aspect ratio, with sprite replay for your entertainment.

  • Backgrounds - Replace in-game 'sky' pixels with custom and AI-generated* images.

  • Butter Mode - Smooths-out background and sprite movement, especially during slow-motion replay.

  • AI Assistant* - Interact with your very own AI agent. 3rd-party AI account & credit required.

  • Smooth and unmixed audio channel waveforms, with adjustable octaves for deeper bass.

  • Fast-forward/rewind/slow-motion, input lag skip, CRT (old TV) mode, save states and more.


Work in Progress:

  • Moddability - Download and install external mods that can, for example, connect AI to Retrobator.
