What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“When I just started making the game, I was full of ambitious ideas. After almost a year of development, I am still coming up with new things on almost a daily basis; however, I realised that without the proper feedback, it is literally impossible to continue. As for now, the game is fully playable, but this is not even half of what I want to do.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan early access for at least 3 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Firstly, I am planning to make the game's world reacher. Add more locations, side characters, and more story-driven mechanics. Secondly, I want to make the player's main opponents truly smart so they will be able to be serious competitors and not just punching bags.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable and (almost) bug-free. You can play as a serial killer hunting down a group of five teenagers. Set traps, create distractions, and choose from more than 15 unique execution methods. You can also grow crops and hunt animals to ensure your survival in the wilderness.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I am not planning to increase the price after release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am planning to do regular monthly updates and major updates every three months. All information about the upcoming updates will be posted in advance on Steam. I am planning to involve the community in the development process directly. Any player's ideas can be implemented.”

THE STORY

In 2018, a group of friends went to Springhill, Louisiana, to shoot a YouTube video about a famous serial killer who was living there. Lester B. Miles is famous due to his cruel crimes, a daring jailbreak, and a mysterious death. Unscrupulous and brutal, he committed robberies, kidnappings, and murders. He was also involved in drug trafficking and many other dirty deeds.

Lester was shot in 2011 in his own house at the age of 41, however, his death didn't bring peace to the small town. Locals strongly believe that his ghost wanders in the nearby forests, and anyone who meets him will die. Someone also believes that his soul was taken by a mysterious power that forces him to torment people even after death.

Tony, Geezer, Bill, Ronnie, and Alice are YouTubers who make a weekly paranormal show. One day, Bill suggests to wisit Louisiana to make a movie about the town and try to shoot any paranormal activity. After arriving, friends had a fight and dispersed to the surrounding area. Later in the night, when screams rang out in the forests, it became obvious that not all of them would leave Springhill alive...
