"We are launching ChessFinity in Early Access to involve players early in our development process. This will allow us to gather feedback on game mechanics, balance, and features, and refine the experience based on community input. Early Access gives us the opportunity to develop a richer, more engaging game with direct player involvement, especially as we work on features like AI improvements, additional chess modes and a solo campaign"

"We anticipate that ChessFinity will be in Early Access for approximately 12 to 18 months. This timeframe allows us to implement core features, polish existing mechanics, and expand on planned content like the single-player campaign, advanced AI, and additional multiplayer modes. However, we’ll be flexible with this schedule based on player feedback and development progress."

"Chessfinity as in its early access will aim to still be evolving when it has fully launched. There are no shortages of avenues to explore in terms of its direction. We want to give the players more power to ; customize, create their own content , pieces, game meta and more. Our goal is to create a polished, feature-rich experience with various chess variants and multiplayer options that can be built upon by the players to create a gestault and bespoke experience via cross mode content. The feedback from the player community will drive the end result."

Erken Erişim sürümünün şu anki durumu nedir?

"The Early Access version of ChessFinity includes core multiplayer gameplay with support for 3+ players, customizable board dimensions, modded game modes and the Mana Chess mode. Postal games are functional for standard and modded chess. Players can play solo mode vs themselves / AI or online. They can experiment with board sizes, custom pieces ,different chess rules and modes. However, AI is currently basic, and there is no single-player campaign yet. We’re actively working on refining these features."

"We plan to increase the price when ChessFinity leaves Early Access. The Early Access price reflects the game’s current state and will reward early adopters who support development. As we add more content and polish, we believe the game’s value will increase, and the final version will be priced accordingly."

"Player feedback will be essential to our development process. We’ll use Steam forums, Discord, and in-game feedback tools to gather suggestions and ideas. We encourage players to share their thoughts on balance, new features, and content updates. We’ll provide regular development updates and polls to prioritize features based on community interest. Our goal is to make ChessFinity a community-driven project where players feel directly involved in shaping the final product."

ChessFinity introduces a modern twist to a classic game. Expanding chess into the third dimension and supporting 3+ players, it offers an array of game modes, player customisation options, and online or local multiplayer. Whether you're a chess veteran or new to the game, ChessFinity provides a flexible platform for strategic gameplay.

3D Chess Gameplay with Support for 3+ Players

Experience chess across multiple layers with verticality in gameplay. Play in classic 1v1 duels, team-based matches, or even larger free-for-all games in local or online multiplayer. ChessFinity gives you new dimensions—literally and figuratively—to explore.

Classic Chess and Variants
Enjoy standard chess or explore different modes, including Fischer Random (Chess960). Classic chess remains central, but players can engage in new challenges through a variety of pre-set variants.

Modifiable Boards and Rules


ChessFinity allows you to modify key elements of the game. Adjust board dimensions, toggle obstacles, or set custom starting positions. You can even introduce unique pieces with specialised movements, offering players control over their chess experience. Every match can be customised to suit different preferences and playstyles.

Mana Chess: A Strategy Card Game Hybrid

In Mana Chess, each turn introduces a new layer of strategy. Players draw chess piece cards from a deck and spend mana to place them onto the board, adding an element of unpredictability akin to card games. This mode combines traditional chess tactics with the excitement of a deck-building game.

Asynchronous Play for All Modes
Don’t have time for a live game? ChessFinity supports asynchronous play, allowing you to take your moves when it's convenient. All game modes include this option, so you can enjoy a more flexible gaming experience.

Future Updates

ChessFinity is a constantly evolving platform. Future updates will introduce Simultaneous Chess, where all players make their moves at the same time, creating fast-paced, high-intensity matches. Additional custom pieces, new rulesets, and interactive mechanics based on player feedback will keep the game fresh.
