What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access will allow players to experience the first two scenarios of CREAMARE - THE GAME: the Museum scenario, serving as the prologue, and an underwater scenario, designed to introduce core mechanics and activities. This early version will help developers gather valuable feedback to refine gameplay, mechanics, and storytelling. With this release, the team aims to foster a meaningful dialogue with players. We greatly appreciate their ideas and contributions in shaping the final experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to release the final version of the game within 4 to 5 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Designers and developers are working hard to complete the game. We plan to include new content and underwater scenarios (e.g. shipwrecks, ancient settlements, etc.), alongside improvements to mechanics and gameplay. Additionally, we plan to introduce new features, such as challenges and collectibles, while enhancing the narrative with each release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access will allow players to explore the museum scenario, learn about the exhibition, experience the first major narrative event (no spoilers here!), and navigate the first real underwater site—the Torre Santa Sabina shipwreck—which will serve as a tutorial.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through early access feedback, open discussions on forums and social media, playtesting sessions, and regular updates where players can share their ideas to help shape the game’s development. Players can provide feedback via our Discord channel, where they can send bug-fix requests and suggestions. The team will take all feedback and requests seriously to shape the final product, striving to fulfill players’ needs as much as possible.”
