Hi,

last playtest patch for this round just landed.

Changes

Fixed (regression from 0.5.8): Smaller enemies not attacking anymore, oops.
Balancing: Invincible for several frames when opening an airdrop
Balancing: Airdrops can be opened ~1s earlier now.
Improved: Stopwatch changes to red color when night starts.

Cant survive a single day, too much rng.

This is just slots. You get the "right" stuff and make the "right" choices (See previous) or you die. The zombies ramp from ghost town to wwz in 3 minutes, your dumbass parks in the middle of town, you need 90 fuel cans just to be able to retreat, you have to collect your exp and your level ups which invariably end up under a pyramid of dead, your guy shoots worse than me without glasses, there's 400 miles of 5mph walk between everything of interest, it's just a laundry list of bad design choices. Playtest Patch 0.5.8

Hi,

we just released another patch for the current playtest version.

Changes
- Added visual feedback when powerup is equipped / cooled down
- Added escape key support for closing meta panels
- Selected character is saved now
- Weapon positions bit lower now
- Fixed that robot arm did not cap properly
- Fixed hickups in inventory when upgrading / placing bags
- Fixed memory leak
- Fixed apple counter not ticking up in game over screen
- Some performance improvements (at least baseline)

Hi survivors,

another patch has landed for Playtest #3.

Changes

Fixed an issue causing the game to crash when loading the next level.
Resolved a freeze that occurred when losing on the boss map.
Adjusted the hitboxes of larger enemies for better balance.
Fixed a bug where spamming the space bar in the base would sometimes reopen menus.
Resolved an issue where upgrades were not saved when returning to the desktop.
Fixed a bug where item affection markers were not removed when selling an item from the backpack.

Game not released error

Hey, just got added to play test, got it installed and played once. Now that i start it it says game not released yet. After uninstall, it let me choose the location for installation, but after that errors out saying game not released yet. Anyone else? Known fixes? (running on Ubuntu 24.10 w/ proton)...

First off I’d just like to say that this game is super fun and a Day One Purchase for any fan of the genre. I dl’d the playtest last night and have played around 4 hours so far. I haven’t had this much “just one more run” enthusiasm for a playtest since DRG survivors. But instead of a Garlic Survivor with mining, y’all went with extraction shooter meets inventory management, brilliant! So I’m wondering about the workbench mentioned in the Steam synopsis. Is it currently in the game and if so...
