Hotfix: Pulling & Main Assist

Hotfix: Corrected a couple of bugs!

SimPlayer pullers would 'get stuck' if the player was the Main Assist for the group, and the player switched targets mid-way through a pull.
SimPlayer Main Assists would *SPAM* the chat if they died and got back up after combat and wanted to reclaim the main assist slot.

Both issues fixed, enjoy!

Great game concept, terrible implementation.

this game blunders at every chance it gets. it's crazy how many important things it got wrong. it doesn't even leverage the advantages of being a single player game. it also looks very amateur in a lot of places, like i've learned a bit of unity and i can already make a better movement system and camera than this, and you can buy better animations for like $80 on the asset store... there's also a lot of bugs like for example i can't even move after disconnecting. i had to restart the whole game to be able...

Demo Update: SimPlayer Behavior & More

Good day all, as development and pre-release preparations continue, it's important that the demo reflects the most up to date state of the game, as such:

"Pulling" code for SimPlayers has been adjusted quite a bit. They're less likely to 'get stuck' but it still does happen from time to time. This is something that will continue to be addressed.
The bug where dead SimPlayers refuse to be revived should be totally eradicated (wooo!)
There was an issue with in game fog that could slowly cause visuals to become 'washed out' over time. This is fixed,
GROUP BEHAVIOR:
-Main Assist (MA): SimPlayers will always target whoever the MA is targeting.
-If the MA is a player, the SimPlayers will go idle between targets in group combat until the player selects a new target
-If the MA is a SimPlayer, you can press F2,F3, or F4 (depending on the player's slot) to target that SimPlayer. Press the Fx button again to target that player's target.
-If the MA dies, the SimPlayers will announce a new, temporary MA in group chat. Upon the MA being revived, the SimPlayers will announce that the original MA is the go-to assist again.
Navigation Changes: SimPlayers should be less likely to 'get stuck' while following the player. Their new method requires them to sample a valid navmesh from the player's position, or else they'll pause their following until the player is back on valid ground. The performance impact here should be minimal, if any.
Escape Key Functionality - When pressing escape:
-If a tutorial window is open, only that will close
-else if any game windows are open, only those will close
-else if no windows are open, but the player has an NPC targeted, the target will drop
-else if none of the above is true, the escape menu will come up
Fixed chat boxes and other UI elements causing the compass to show visual anomalies
Autoattack will automatically turn off if nothing is targeted, preventing you from accidentally targeting a friend NPC with autoattack turned on.

Demo Update: Bug Fixes

Just a few small tweaks and fixes, based on recent player feedback:

XP Bar scaling issue fixed
The Compass will no longer display other UI elements over the top of itself, when they should be masked (specifically, the chat log and options menu)
Fixed NPC names displaying oddly in First Person View
Fixed "Death Tip" popping up if you die solo (it's application is for group play only)
Fixed some UI consistency issues
Adjusted criteria for being "In Combat" - there is a rare bug where SimPlayers won't stand back up when they should be able to be revived.

REQUEST: If you experience a SimPlayer who will not stand back up when you should be out of combat, please type /stoprev and share the data it displays in the community discord for bug hunting purposes.

I haven't been this excited for a game since the release of Halo 3. While I wait for release, what other titles can I play with a similar feel to this?
