“It will take me a long time to add everything planned, but player feedback is going to be an essential part of that. Early Access allows me to gather players' opinions to improve the game.”

“It's hard to pinpoint a specific time frame, but the game will remain in early access for likely at least two years. The plan is to keep adding new content during the Early Access time.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan for the full game to include more items, crafting recipes, stations, NPCs, levels and everything. There are also plans to include a complete story with a proper ending.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access currently has all of the basic game features in place.”

“No. The game will still be free.”

About This Game

OUT OF BOUNDS is a first-person survival sandbox set in the Backrooms. Will you survive long enough to find an exit, or will you perish to the dangers lurking in this never-ending nightmare?

Explore Fully Interactable Levels


Different levels to explore, with different and unique resources. Every object can be moved around with physics or can be interacted with; If you see it, you can do something with it.

Craft Weapons And Useful Components


Various crafting recipes for you to discover and utilize. Bandages, makeshift weapons, electrical and mechanical components and contraptions. Every recipe has its purpose.

Build a Base With Everything You Can


Almost every object can be moved around freely and can be anchored and fixed in place. Make a base to store your resources and keep all your working stations, while you stay safe from any hostile entities.

The Promise Of An Exit


Your ultimate goal is to escape and get back home. With no apparent way of communicating with the outside world, you're stuck alone with your thoughts. Will they get to you, before you can get to the exit?
