About This Game

This virtual table top (VTT) is designed specifically for in-person play on a TV or monitor. Built from the ground up for use on a touchscreen. You will not find a VTT that is easier to use or your money back!

That's a joke, it's completely free. There is no logging in, signing up, or any other strings attached. I make money selling hardware. If you would like to support this project, please consider buying a touchscreen or TV frame from me on my website .

It is meant to replace dry erase or paper maps, but not replace any of the other aspects to playing in person. For example, there are no character sheets or dice rolls. Whatever tools you use, including pencil and paper, you should continue to use.

Keeping only essential features makes this VTT the easiest to use. The entire interface functions on a touchscreen without the need for a keyboard or mouse (without a touch device you would need to click around with a mouse).

You place physical minis directly on the screen and digital tokens automatically keep track of their movement and lighting.

All functions can be performed directly within the program or, if you prefer, you may access a DM screen in your browser. No fiddling around with network settings, just enter the 4-digit code and you are good to go. I don't think Steam will let me link the URL, but it is in the "Settings" option in the main menu. You can also use the code to join the game as a player for hybrid play.

Features

  • Import any image, video (for animated maps), or uvtt (aka dd2vtt) file with built-in line of sight data

  • Dynamic lighting with fog of war, shadows, and time of day

  • Built-in library of over 500 tokens or import your own custom tokens

  • Remote access/DM screen via any browser

  • Add/remove walls, doors, and windows to any map

  • Easy map scaling and grid overlay

  • Collision detection to prevent movement into unexplored areas

  • Measuring tools for movement, distance, and spell effects

  • Blazingly fast on any hardware thanks to the Godot engine. No dedicated graphics required

  • Runs locally offline as a single small (<200 MB) executable

  • Easily import maps Foundry modules or using Moulinette integration

Coming Soon

  • Import external lighting

  • More grid options (eg. hex)

  • Weather effects

  • Native Linux builds (currently runs fine on WINE)

If you are looking for a VTT exclusively for online play, this is not it. Hybrid play does work well, but it is required that the main program be running on a dedicated (low-end) device. If you are already using Foundry, Arkenforge, or Owlbear Rodeo and get along just fine, probably not a great idea to switch. But if you are just getting started out with VTT's and play in person, I honestly do believe this is an excellent choice.

Please bring up any questions, problems, or feature requests in the community links so that all may benefit.
