About This Demo

The B.C. Piezophile Demo is an open mecha sandbox designed for the player to familiarize themselves with the normal handling procedures of the Strategic Force Multiplying Unit—or L.E.E.P.A.S—as overseen by the Mercy Envoy Atta’s Council of Esteemed Leapers. This is done in a mostly safe environment where the objectives are entirely player self-directed.

This affords full access to:

†1. an advanced suit of powered armor;

†2. one sixth millennium hyperweapon;

†3. and, for counsel, a medicated symbiote.

Some hours after departing from the Proving Grounds, the M.E. Atta crashed—sinking into the deepest reaches of Mare Nullius.

Among the thousands of casualties were:

Fr. Said’s curatory of new artifacts has since been lost forever, taking the mesa’s freshest records of the Divine Earth’s mysteries with them.

• Miracle of Content. This demo is a handcrafted prelude for B.C. Piezophile that includes a large, open level with an obstacle course to help the player understand the suit's components at their own pace. There are no timers or linear objectives, instead emphasizing problem solving and exploration—essential for surviving the full game.

• Encyclopedic Insanity. The player is witness to the helpful and sane musings of the integrated supercomputer, which is now being medicated.

• God's Creatures. There are some crawling and flying things which like to play too. They like to play in the mud and the player may find them crawling in the mud.

• Custom Soundtrack. New music has been pulled from the aither specifically for this demo. These songs capture the essence of the demo. The player may find themselves playing the demo just to hear its songs.
