What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As a self published and funded small indie studio we want to create our game using our vision and not have to adjust the experience. Early access will allow us to keep focusing on the game, gather feedback and create a experience the community deserve. This will also give us the opportunity to complete the next stages of development in a better time frame as well as to the quality we are aiming for. We believe early access will allow us and the community to forge a better gaming experience together and hopefully allow us to have all hands on deck until the game is done.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We aim for development to take 2 years to complete the different areas of game, with new areas being added to early access throughout this time period.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We aim for the full version to feature the full village district, all areas to be explorable with there own quests, unique encounters, lore and secrets. The players house, houses of the neighbours, Shrine area, Onsen, school, woods, restaurant to name the main planned areas.

The early access currently has features a prologue to introduce you to the village, you will see the size and other locations but they wont be finished and wont have their quests or be full explorable. Over time we plan to add more areas that players can explore and complete the quests for that area. Ultimately we aim to have all areas with there own quest that will come together allowing the player to complete the main story with various endings.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early access features a prologue where you play as a Tsuki the housekeeper, in a story that leads up to the start of the main game. This story will still be the length of a short horror game and will give players an idea of the size of the village. It will have multiple endings and allow players to walk around the village to look at what's to come.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price will be different. Whoever buys the game in early access will be getting the game at a cheaper price and will own the full game when it launches for no extra cost. Their will also be a sale at the launch of early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have an active discord as well as being active on social media. We post updates frequently and ask for feedback which we use when fixing/making changes to the game. We run polls sometimes and listen to feedback as well as address concerns. The community will help decide what locations we focus on, so they may play the favourite areas well before the initial planned release.”

About This Game

Early access: Prologue

In the prologue, play as Tsuki, a new housekeeper in the eerie Nichishima no Yūrei district. On her first day, a storm knocks out the power, forcing her to explore the house to restore it. This quest uncovers dark secrets, unleashing a vengeful presence. Tsuki must escape the tainted house, setting the stage for the main story and revealing the village's mysterious inhabitants.

The Ghost of Nichishima - In the midst of a relentless storm, you've just moved into the quaint, seemingly peaceful village of Nichishima. But peace is short-lived when a power outage plunges your new home into darkness. Seeking aid, you venture into the village, where it will be down to you to decide the fate of Nichishima, if you survive.

Fear of the unknown! Don't let yourself get too scared by having too many encounters with your strange fellow residents and other supernatural beings, some more dangerous than others.

Multiple endings! There is more than one way to find peace in this isolated land, and it will be your choice which way you choose. Find a solution to the village's problem and bring peace to it one way or another but be wary, each choice has its own consiquence.

Freedom! You are not bound to your house, you can go looking around the village and even the surrounding woodland, shrine, school and inside other houses. Just be warned, not all residents will be so welcoming.

Reasons to return! There will be lots to see and encounter but you may also miss a lot on your first playthrough. Expect to find hidden events, easter eggs and creepy encounters as you explore, look far and up close.

Realistic graphics, weather effects and a strong narrative come together to create this immersive first person horror experience, are you ready to be in these shoes?

You will be able to use a range of equipment to help you with your investigating such as a flash light, A lighter to light candles and help you see when you have no other light. An instant camera to take pictures  that you can keep to help remember things or even see things your eyes cannot.
