What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We decided to release our program into early access so that users can start learning it as early as possible. We would like to receive feedback and suggestions for improving our product so that the program ultimately becomes as convenient and effective as possible for its users.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“We plan to release the full version of the program 12 months after the release of early access. This time is required to implement all planned additional features that improve our program.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We are currently working on the ability to load .obj format files into the program from the local drive of the user’s computer and some sites.
A system of sharper rotation of objects with advanced settings is planned. This will not only allow you to make even more complex installations, but also evaluate 3D objects from different angles.
We plan to add the ability to save 3D objects and combined effects to the installation.
In the future, we plan to provide the ability to download videos, images and 3D models from some Internet resources. We are always ready to listen to advice and not be limited by initial plans.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All the main functions of our program are available for study by users. They can create their own unique installations both for themselves and as holiday gifts for their friends and their family.

We did not limit the number of projectors or screens that can be connected to one instance of the program. All 8 projectors, if connected to a computer, are accessible.
We did not limit the number of points in the perimeter of the created screens.
You can control the visibility of screens, perimeter points, and screen sides.
You can create a new screen using a layout template or your own choice.
You can select as many videos or images from your library and place them in the player for each screen, independently of each other.
Available formats today: asf,avi,dv,m4v,mp4,mpg,mpeg,ogv,vp8,webm,wmv,mov,bmp,jpeg,jpg,png.
You can set the depth for each video separately.
You can adjust the speed at which the transparency changes at the beginning of the video and at the end of the video.
You can limit the duration of each video or image.
Each screen video can be configured separately or all at once.
You can change the depth of the screen relative to the scene.
For screens, it is possible to configure continuous rotation along the X, Y, Z axes.
It is possible to select an additional center of rotation for each screen (geometric center).

The number of 3D object shape modifiers that can be inserted into an object cassette is up to 100 units!
There are 3 triggers available that can be used to set the behavior of a 3D object.
You can run up to 100 instances of one 3D object.
You can run up to 1000 3D objects at the same time.
You can launch objects automatically using triggers or manually.

There are many parameters for setting up 3D objects:
1. Quantity
2. Regulators of object behavior (triggers)
3. Elasticity
size 4
5. Angle at the start along the X, Y, Z axes
6. Rotation in flight along the X, Y, Z axes
7. Start pulse along the X, Y, Z axes
8. Gravity along the X, Y, Z axes
9. Snap to screen points
10. Flight trajectories of objects around screen points
11. Selecting the 3D area where the object appears
12. Linking the area where an object appears to the perimeter of the screens
13. Form modifiers (random selection or sequential search)
14. Object color settings (one color, two colors, random)

DINRAY has more than a hundred 3D object templates.
There is a template designer in which you can collect your own versions of 3D objects, combining them and customizing them as you wish.

Screens can be used to interact with objects by choosing one of four shell types:
1. Reflector
2. Trap
3. Transparent
4. Destroyer

You can select a mode (2D, 3D) to view the scene.
You can zoom in and out of the scene, viewing it from the desired angle.
It is already possible to save stage screen configurations.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price after releasing the full version. All users who actively participate in improving our program will enjoy program updates for free for as long as they need it.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We welcome feedback and suggestions for improving our program through discussions on Steam and through the feedback form on the website https://dinray.com.
Since we are going to launch the program early, we expect our users to report all sorts of bugs and give us their great ideas that will influence the development of the program. Therefore, we are planning a system of gifts and bonuses for those users who support us.
We also hope for help from users with the translation and localization of DINRAY.”

About This Software

We present a design application for generating effects and creating installations using household and laser projectors.
You can create installations based on uploaded videos, photos and embedded 3D models.
Divide the screen into multiple mini-screens by drawing the outlines of real objects. Add your own video footage to every user screen.
Customize the appearance, properties and characteristics of 3D models - their shape, color and behavior using fade-in and fade-out triggers.
Customize the interaction of screens and 3D models, creating unique colorful installations on the walls of rooms and houses.
Use the program's capabilities to create 3D presentations...
