Why Early Access?

“We are a small, 3-person team and we initially created this game as part of a 12-hour Game Jam we did on our Twitch stream, and we loved it so much we've moved on to actively developing it, as we're all personally massive fans of indie horror experiences! We're taking it to early access however, as we want to use that to gauge interest, as well as to get feedback from the people who matter most - The people reading this, and the people who are interested in playing!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are looking at working on Dolls' Domain for around 1 year before we come out of Early Access. We want to make sure the game is finished, polished, immersive, and enjoyable to our players before we even think about releasing version 1.0. We have many plans for the future of Dolls' Domain and we want to make sure we give ourselves enough time to implement all the features we want players to experience in a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We want to have a full story and experience that involves the entire dollhouse, and your exploration of it. How did you get here, and what are the creatures in there with you? We have a lot more planned for the game than that, but our plan for now, is to get a complete story out alongside more rooms, more puzzles, and more creatures that each have their own mechanics you must tackle. We want to have a wide variety of enemies within this dollhouse to keep you on your toes!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the moment, we have 3 separate rooms, each with multiple interactable objects. There are multiple puzzles to complete as well as 2 main hazards you'll need to survive to escape...

The next steps include adding more rooms, and more enemies each with their own mechanics.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase as we supply new content and features, but we intend to only increase the amount as there's a justifiable update to support this, and we plan on making sure that the dates of any price increases are clearly communicated!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan on having multiple questionnaires, as well as some stream Q&A sessions on Twitch, to let the community pitch ideas as well as to give feedback on our ideas. We also have a Discord community where you can have your say and meet other members of the Not Evil Community, as well as chat with us, the developers!

While we can't guarantee everything will be used, we want to listen to what you have to say!”

About This Game

Prepare to be plunged into a dollhouse where not everything is as it seems...

Interactivity

Each room within the dollhouse will have multiple objects that you can interact with. You will need to search high and low for key items to progress through the dollhouse and this is where full VR and non-VR interactivity shines.

Not only will you need to interact with objects to find key items, but you will also need to interact with many different objects that are tied directly to puzzles. So make sure you interact with everything!

Puzzles

Each room will hold multiple puzzles or multiple objects that tie directly into puzzles. You will have to use your wits to solve riddles, find items, and unlock doors to progress through this Escape Room-style game.

Search everywhere, touch everything... You never know what you might find.

Creatures

This house might seem completely empty... But you are certainly not alone. Currently, you must outsmart two creatures, with many more to come in the future. Don't turn your back unless you're sure you're alone.. and don't let Her see you move.

Limited Visibility

Did someone turn off the lights?

Use your trusty flashlight to look around, and navigate through the dollhouse. Don't lose your flashlight, or you might stumble into something you'll have trouble escaping...

VR and non-VR

Brave the dollhouse in non-VR using the standard mouse and keyboard, Or, if you're feeling fearless, get the full experience and face this nightmare in Virtual Reality. A dollhouse has never felt so real...
