"Path of Ambition: The Sun Rise" narrates a story set in the late Eastern Han Dynasty of China, a time of rampant monsters, weaving through historical and fictional tales. Players embody a young character in this tumultuous era, battling monsters while pursuing their own ambitions. The Qilin, traditionally a symbol of a prosperous era, becomes a sign of turbulent times when prefixed with 'Mythical,' and this concept forms the core of the game.
