Since Dragon Chronicles: Black Tears is a game that requires a lot of strategic thinking, we plan on comprehensively implementing user feedback that is both about the tone and about the in-game mechanical values. We hope for your active participation in the feedback so that the game can be improved before the official release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan on having an Early Access period of about 3 months. During this time, we plan to work on making quality-of-life improvements to the gameplay and making adjustments to the combat balance.
The decision regarding whether to extend the Early Access period or to proceed with the official release will be made based on your feedback and how we plan to make changes.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The official release will include a new difficulty. We are considering a difficulty that doesn't just simply adjust the numerical values of enemies, but instead a difficulty that diversifies how players approach gameplay.
We are also reviewing the possibility of adding new game systems based on user feedback and ideas.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game's normal difficulty currently consists of 16 hero cards, 4 regions, 1 final boss region, and various event stages.
We believe this difficulty is designed with the right amount of content that will allow players to gain a sufficient understanding of the game while having fun.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The final price may be adjusted upwards closer to the official release or after the official release, but we believe that there won't be a significant change from the current price.”

About This Game

Dragon Chronicles: Black Tears is a turn-based RPG where you clear missions
using your own personalized decks comprised of heroes and artifacts.

Save the world from the Black Tears.

The battles will be tough, with each region posing a unique challenge,
and the constant dangers of contamination will torment you.

Your only hope is to recruit and train heroes, research their skills, and secure powerful
artifacts hidden throughout the world to devise the optimal strategy and composition
that will win you battles.


■ Fast and strategic, active turn-based combat
Engage in exciting and tactical battles through an active turn-based system.
Seize victory amidst the many variables generated by the relentless passage of time.


■ Countless possible decks made from various heroes, artifacts, and imprint items
Mix and match 16 heroes, 60 artifacts, and 140 different imprint items to clear stages. There are no set combinations. Experiment and create your own powerful deck.


■ Extreme difficulty and an autosave feature that keep players on edge
Defeat powerful enemies that can wipe out your party at any moment, and fight back the ever-growing contamination. All progress will be saved automatically. Any mistake can lead to defeat, with no going back. Choose wisely.


■ Tactical advancement of skills and town facilities
It is crucial to make efficient use of the limited resources you acquire through exploration.
Your game plan will heavily depend on which facilities and skills you choose to upgrade. Prepare for your next expedition by making the most of your options.


■ Expeditions that offer a choice of various paths with unpredictable events
During expeditions, you'll encounter a variety of random events and unexpected situations, some good and some bad. And the greater the risk, the greater the reward. Making the right choice in your given circumstances will lead to great rewards.
