Why Early Access?

“Social Status is an open world game. Rather than continuing development to expand on the game and pushing additional areas in the world, it would be much more beneficial to have player feedback and suggestions in what direction is taken next.
Early access will allow us to make rest of the world around the players based on what they want instead of making things on a whim and assuming it will improve the experience.
More content will be added to the game before full release, potentially making the world 2-3 times bigger. More optimization and game balancing where needed based on feedback.”

“Currently Social Status early access is a complete game in itself. All the core features and game-play elements are there for players to experience. The core game loop is complete and players will get a good sense of what the game is about and how to survive the day to day challenges in the virtual world around them.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features”

“Feedback from Discord, Steam forums, etc. Players will heavily influence the direction of the final product.”
