Akatori: Сhapter One is an intense metroidvania with action platformer elements and a compelling introduction to the grand adventure awaiting you in Akatori. Take on the role of the young monk, Mako, as you learn where the game’s story begins and encounter the inhabitants of the Land of the Emerald Peaks, inspired by the Industrial Revolution's East Asia. Join her on an ill-fated expedition to the divine realm of Kohakujō, setting the stage for the epic journey of Mako and her newfound red bird companion.

But the bird isn't just a bird, it's also a staff that can be thrown and used as a weapon or platforming tool. Get ready to fight, jump and thoroughly explore your surroundings to challenge a truly mighty opponent at the end!
