Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan for Metafighters to be in early access for approximately one year. During this time, we will be actively working on improving the game, incorporating community feedback, and adding new features. Our goal is to use this period to fine-tune the gameplay experience and ensure that Metafighters is as polished as possible for its full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The planned full version of Metafighters will be a more polished and expanded version of the early access release. While we can't make specific promises about the future, our intention is to incorporate player feedback to refine gameplay mechanics, balance, and overall user experience. In the full version, we hope to offer a wider range of fighters, accessories, and environments for players to explore. The full scope of the game will be determined by the progress we make during early access and the feedback we receive from the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current status of the Early Access release of Metafighters includes a functional single-player mode and a partially implemented multiplayer mode. Players can engage in fistfights against AI opponents, earn money, and purchase new accessories. The multiplayer feature is in development and, while it is partially operational, we are actively working on refining and expanding it to offer a smoother and more comprehensive experience. We are excited about the progress we have made so far and are eager to continue improving the game based on your feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Metafighters will continue to be a free-to-play game even after leaving early access. Players can enjoy the core gameplay without any financial commitment. However, we do offer in-app purchases and DLC content for those who wish to enhance their gaming experience. Please note that the pricing of in-app purchases and DLC may vary over time based on the expansion of content and the value offered. We will always strive to offer fair and transparent pricing for our players.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to engage with our community primarily through our Discord server and the Steam Community forums. On Discord, players can join discussions, provide feedback, share their experiences, and directly interact with the development team. On Steam, we will create regular forum threads to collect feedback and keep players updated on game changes, patch notes, and upcoming features.”
