We're integrating VR mode into Escape Simulator! This means every owner of Escape Simulator will automatically receive the ES:VR version for FREE. We believe this approach is not only more fair to our players but also addresses technical challenges, making maintenance more manageable for our small team. Experience your favorite puzzles and adventures in a completely immersive VR environment, at no extra cost. About the game

Escape Simulator VR is an escape room game you can play solo or in an online co-op with up to 8 players (optimal 2-3). Following the unprecedented success of the original version Escape Simulator VR was rebuilt from the ground up to be a comfortable and highly immersive VR experience. Pick up and examine everything, break objects, solve locks, and decipher puzzles to escape! After finishing the main game, watch for free content updates and explore 3000+ rooms built by the community.


Physics is central to the gameplay, bringing you as close as possible to real-life escape rooms. Every object in the room that is not nailed down can be picked up, examined, and interacted with. You figured out that the item is not important for your puzzle? Feel free just to toss it away. Move furniture around to access secret compartments and find hidden objects.

Escape Simulator VR supports all the standard locomotion types such as teleport, smooth move, controller-based movement, and being able to be played in the full room-scale setting. There is also snap-turning, seated, and stationary mode. Two hands are not required.


The game is playable in co-op with up to 8 players with full voice support. Discuss puzzles, share items, and solve challenges together with friends. You’re also able to play with players who have the non-VR version.

* For base room packs 2-3 players are recommended, and extra rooms get a recommendation for up to 4 players. But nothing is stopping you from throwing a full 8 player party!


Escape Simulator VR features 25 original rooms made in collaboration with real-world escape room designers. Rooms are separated into four theme packs with five rooms each: Labyrinth of Egypt, Adrift in Space, Edgewood Mansion, and Omega Corporation. The game features an additional set of five one-off extra rooms.

But we're not stopping here. Expect more exciting free content updates in the future!


Escape Simulator’s wonderful community has created stunning rooms in every imaginable theme and style. Explore the head-scratching Devilish Diorama, enter Houdini’s Workshop and become a real escape artist, dive to an underwater base in Under The Sea, and become a secret agent in The Spy Escape.

Over 3000 rooms have been created by masterful room builders, and more are coming in daily.

Included content

Labyrinth of Egypt - "You and your mentor discovered the ancient Labyrinth of Egypt. By accident, he activated a trap, and you got separated with no way out in sight."

Adrift in Space - "An explosion wakes you up. Your spaceship has been hit by debris, and you're heading straight into the sun."

Edgewood Mansion - "You were invited to attend a special dinner at Dr. Edgewood's mansion. Instead of eating food, you'll be solving a Victorian mystery."

Omega Corporation - "Your friend disappeared while investigating the mysterious Omega Corporation. Follow their tracks and uncover the truth."

Extras - Escape Santa's Workshop, play with Cats in Time, visit a spooky Graveyard or a funky 70's Room! In our latest room, you can try to escape from Leonardo da Vinci's workshop.

* Game features additional content in the form of paid DLCs with 4 large rooms each: Steampunk and Wild West. If you've already purchased the DLCs for the non-VR version, they will work in VR without an additional purchase.
