GATLING - PANZER'S HERO: Gatling is the main protagonist of ‘COREUPT’s narrative, a just warrior from the floating continent of Panzer. Chosen as a child to wield an ancient sword forged by the Ancient Hyperions, Gatling is the current Magus leader of the Omega Blades, a brotherhood of warrior-knights whose sole responsibility is to defend the innocent and uphold justice wherever needed within the Coalesce.

He is the son of Raynar, former Magus of the Omega Blades and once brother-in-arms to the now unstoppable warlord, Dragonov. As his father’s friend-turned-nemesis wages a war across the universe, Gatling must lead his own band of virtuous fighters to save all of existence from Dragonov’s tyranny.

WINRY - THE ENIGMA: The deuteragonist of ‘COREUPT’. Winry is as much a mystery to herself as she is to anyone else. Finding herself with no memory and stranded in a foreign region of the cosmos gripped in the fiery grasp of war and tyranny, Winry’s personal problems of… not knowing anything about herself are put to one side when she aligns herself with Gatling to fight back against Dragonov.

Along the way to saving the Coalesce, she may just find a way to find out who she really is, and why she’s been thrown into a conflict that may spell the end of all existence. Thankfully, she still remembers how to fight and how to wield two guns at the same time.

DESTROY - FEARED DARK ASSASSIN: “Death is the Great Motivator” words usually uttered by Destroy the grim towering Battleaxe-wielding figure aligned with Dragonov. Renowned as a fighting prodigy, Destroy’s combat prowess are second only to Dragonov. From birth he was trained to be a killer, for learning these skills was never his choice. Being Dragonov’s Son demanded they be forced upon him. Severity of his training increased as Destroy aged. The only choices were, to succeed and survive or to fail and face certain death by his father’s hand. He chose from early on that he would live to become the greatest.

A claim which was tested by having him sent to the planet ANGURA to acquire the “Infernix Heart.” A quest his father desired for him to pursue, but he would need to defeat the mythical god-beast the Dark Infernix. Destroy succeeded where other seasoned battle-tested warriors before him died and failed. This impossible task was accomplished when Destroy was still only just a young boy. After retrieving the heart, Dragonov had the essence of the Infernix infused within Destroy’s body making them one.

BERETTA - THE TYRANT PRINCESS: Beretta is a true ‘daughter of the dragon’—in more ways than one. As the child of the ruthless tyrant, Dragonov, Beretta has grown up witnessing the brutalities of war and conquest. In fact, her father’s campaigns have shaped her from childhood, teaching her how to navigate the treacherous waters of warfare with a no-nonsense attitude, lethal precision, and unrivaled fighting skills.

But she is far from an unwilling spectator to her father’s atrocities; in fact, oftentimes she’s his right hand, loyal and devoted to her father’s cause and relishing in every act of malice and every sacrifice she makes to serve him and fulfill his orders.

DRAGONOV - THE WARLORD: The main antagonist of ‘COREUPT’. A tyrannical warlord waging a campaign of destruction and ruin across the Coalesce. Formerly Volneir, a renowned member of the Omega Blades and a brother-in-arms to Raynar, Volneir passed over for promotions in rank; Raynar was given the rank of Magus, but Volneir was refused his promised rank of High-Guard. This act of betrayal set Volneir on a path of vengeance and rage that corrupted him into the merciless, monstrous Dragonov.

Years later, Raynar and Dragonov fought one last time—as fathers to young warriors, and as enemies fighting for the fate of all existence. Their final confrontation ended with Raynar dead by Dragonov’s hand, removing one more obstacle in his path to collect the Hyperion Cores and decimate the universe.

VECTOR - THE CAPTAIN: Vector was born into a prestigious military family with deep roots in the Galaxias Corps, the intergalactic peacekeepers of the Coalesce. Like generations before her, she followed in their footsteps to join the Corps, upholding her family’s proud military legacy. Defying the expectations of her military superiors, she rose through the ranks to rise to Captain and was assigned the job of Patrol Commander.

Now joining the fight against Dragonov and his forces, Vector finds her family’s name and legacy supporting her from behind as she fights a new war for the safety of the universe, lighting the beacons for civilizations across the Coalesce and giving hope to generations to come.

SAWN-OFF - THE RELENTLESS: Sawn Off is a fighter hailing from the desolate landscape of Praxis. Whereas his partner R.P.G. is the brains of the operation, Sawn Off is the brawn. A master hand-to-hand fighter, Sawn Off stands resilient against the struggles and hardship of a life lived on the fringes of the galaxy. Overlooked by even the Omega Blades and able to see the harm and scars of even the most well-intentioned acts of justice, Sawn Off’s very existence conflicts with a lot of the galaxy’s sensibilities.

Channeling the wounds of his upbringing into a career as a bounty hunter and carrying a vendetta against many people that caused the miseries of his childhood, Sawn Off works with R.P.G. to deal their own brand of justice, even against the so-called ‘good guys’.

R.P.G. - THE GENIUS: R.P.G. joins the fight from the outer edges of the society contained within. Raised on Praxis and brought up against a backdrop of danger, mischief and chaos, R.P.G. has grown up using her genius-level intellect and boundless energy to get herself into and out of trouble.

Though she has a mind and technological capabilities that rival even the greatest members of the Echilim, she defies convention and operates on her own terms with her steadfast companion, Sawn Off, from an environment of underdogs, while also working to unravel various mysteries of her own past that she has yet to truly understand. Often having to fight their own battles and continually overlooked by even the good guys of the galaxy, R.P.G. and Sawn Off make the most of each day.

REVOLVER - THE REVENANT: Revolver exists at the intersection of man and machine, a mysterious entity born from the brilliant mind of Echilim genius known as Sherman. Part-machine, part-living energy, Revolver’s origins are shrouded in mystery, with the source of his power remaining unknown.

Created with a singular purpose—to carry out and enforce Sherman’s will—Revolver is a silent guardian, ever vigilant at his creator’s side. Rumors swirl of his ability to vanish and reappear at will, leading many to fear him as a harbinger of vengeance, a dark soul returned to enact retribution upon the living.

WOLF - THE SUPER-HUMAN: Wolf is a formidable presence in the cosmos, a mysterious warrior whose origins are as enigmatic as her name. Originally hailing from the distant reaches of a foreign star system, she is believed to be a denizen of the planet Earth in the year 2149, though the circumstances surrounding her arrival in this part of the universe remain shrouded in mystery.

Wolf’s body has been enhanced through advanced technologies, granting her “superhuman” capabilities that make her a force to be reckoned with both on and off the battlefield. With over a century of experience immersed in the chaos of war and conflict, she navigates the universe with a steely resolve and a singular purpose.

SHERMAN - THE PRODIGY: Sherman emerges from the esteemed lineage of House Ohm, raised in the opulent embrace of Hyperion-Prime by his parents, Xenor and Illian, Duo-Primes of their noble house. Despite his privileged upbringing, Sherman’s childhood was marked by adversity, his path illuminated by the uncanny brilliance that set him apart from his peers.

His innate talent for developing groundbreaking technology drew the attention of influential figures such as his grandfather, Callus, and the enigmatic Cipher-Spherous, both of whom recognized the prodigious potential within him. However, his contributions were overshadowed by Echilim law, which deemed all his innovations as council property, fueling Sherman’s resentment towards the ruling elite.
