Varför Early Access?

“Because it's the cool thing to do! Everyone's launching in Early Access first! But in all seriousness, it's because we plan to do a lot more work on the game, but also can't wait to show it to players and start getting feedback from them. We enjoyed the Early Access iteration process with Despot's Game, and so we see no reason not to do it again!”

“We're planning to release version 1.0 approximately six months after the Early Access launch. But d'Spot tends to scoff at his puny slaves and their plans! So we'll see what happens.”

“Now this is the big question! It goes without saying that we'll add more content: new abilities, new levels, new enemies. We wouldn't say there's a lack of content in the game right now, but it does need a lot more. We'll also fix bugs, of course. It would be great if we have zero bugs at launch, but we'll see how it goes!

The most important goal that our Slime is oozing towards is this: we want players to feel encouraged to constantly try out different combinations and synergies. We want the process of figuring out ways to "break the game" to beat the next level to always feel fun. To achieve this, we'll make big changes to the Slime's abilities themselves and to the upgrades between sessions. We have a ton of ideas!
We also still need to add achievements, put some final artistic polish on the UI, and bring in some really cool bosses, so there's still a lot of work ahead of us!”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“It's in great shape! Like a rare steak, for those who want to savor the raw implementation of what the developers consider the most important parts of the game: many enemies and abilities, deck building, and - most importantly - the Slime! Play it now, beat the game, and then beat it again when 1.0 comes out to get twice the fun!”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Possibly! Our honest answer is that we haven't decided yet.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We actively involved the community in the development of Despot's Game (the game includes abilities that members of our community came up with, and we still consult with our grandmaster players about balance changes on a regular basis). This got us really good results, so we plan to do the same thing with Slime 3K!
