Roody:2d is a large and complicated game with features that push the genre forward. There are more possibilities than a single team could ever playtest themselves. Early access allows the game to take feedback as various strategies and bugs are found through a playerbase.

The plan for moving from the current version to full release might include optimizations, bug fixes, possible block recipe and research costs balancing, and the tutorial could go through revisions.
Updates might cause strange issues in existing save files if an update changes how a block behaves or adjusts world generation.
Possible content additions would be limited to new blocks or new monsters; do not expect entirely new systems like weapon crafting or boss fights.

The Early Access version is fully playable in the current state with a tutorial and research tree to progress through in sandbox worlds. The experience of playing the currently available version of Roody:2d should mostly resemble later versions.

At the current moment, there are no plans to increase the price because the current version of Roody:2d is close to the vision of a complete Roody:2d.
