Why Early Access?

“Wild Americas is being developed by a team of 3 individuals. We have limited time to present a small piece of the overall experience we intend to build. A purchase of the Early Access title, allows the studio to introduce improvements, receive player feedback, in short, invest back into your gaming experience.

Our $5 Early Access provides a large, open-world area to explore, hunt, scan and survive. I am excited for you to step into the boots of a GeoCorp Geologist and explore the hills, valleys, caves, and tunnels created.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“6 months. The DLC, "Carp-e-Diem", featuring the complete Wild Americas experience, has a release date set for late Dec, 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to introduce features including: vehicles driving (mobile base), robust survival-based inventory, weapons upgrade system, fly-fishing, new enemies, and locations.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access includes shooting, hunting, demolition, scanning, and discovery across miles of landscape, which we anticipate, provides hours of adventure. Thousands of hours have been dedicated to a hand crafted level and player journey.

What you will experience in both the Demo and Early Access have been created in approximately the same amount of time planned for the marketed next phase of development in June–November of 2024, culminating with the DLC, "full game" release in Dec.

We believe its important to show gamers transparency and set realistic expectations for future work, based on current progress. Keep in mind, game community support via unit sales of the $5 Early Access game goes directly back to the project. As a studio, we have set our sights on building the IP of Wild Americas for years to come. With your support, we will create an amazing PvP and Co-op experience!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. When the DLC "Carp-e-Diem" arrives in Dec, we will charge $10 for new gamers. If you purchase the $5 option, you will also receive the DLC at no charge in December. Details apply.”

About This Game

Wild Americas is an action, adventure and exploration game available for PC. Players will step into the shoes of a skilled GeoCorp geologist, tasked with exploring and cataloging the breathtaking landscapes above and below the imposing Mountain Island, U.S.A.

Armed with advanced GPR scanning equipment, players will have to employ their wit and expertise to catalogue the island's natural resources, all while uncovering hidden conspiracies and schemes behind secret experiments, ancient artefacts, and old tales. Navigate treacherous terrain, climb rocky extensions, and delve deep into the island's underground network of caves and tunnels.

Set against the diverse backdrop of the untamed wilderness, players will have to battle fierce predators, brave extreme weather conditions, and master survival skills to outlast the challenges that lie ahead.

A narrative journey compliments an expansive environment filled with dark caves, apex predators and forgotten artifacts. Enjoy hours of gameplay exploring locations that play a critical role throughout our subsequent chapters 1-6.

The developers describe the content like this:

The player will use weapons (primarily firearms) to hunt and/or kill various animals. This will take place throughout the game and is the main combat loop. There will also be references to drugs, tobacco, and alcohol. For example, there is a saloon in the small town which will serve as the main hub for players where they will purchase supplies, sell goods, etc. Drug, tobacco, and alcohol references may also be found in some of the text dialogue.
