為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Even though the core gameplay of Halls of Torment appears to be simple, there’s a lot going on in its underlying design. We want the game to provide a genuine depth in character builds and meta progression. The game contains rpg elements that make this kind of depth possible: character stats, items, monsters, quests, abilities, you name it. With so many moving parts we require the continuous feedback of a larger player base to make it the best game experience it can be. For us this is only possible in an Early Access environment.」

這款遊戲的搶先體驗時間大約會持續多久？

「Our plan is to stay no longer than 6 months in Early Access. This timeframe may vary, depending on how the game is received and on the ideas we might have along the way.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「Our intention is to increase the replayability in the final version, specifically by an increased number of player characters, stages, quests, and items. This would also include unique and bespoke mechanics for specific characters and items. We want to provide a longer meta progression, improve balancing based on playtests and player feedback and polish the experience overall.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「The core mechanics and the general structure of the game are pretty much finished. There are two playable stages with four bosses each and a maximum duration of 30 minutes per run. We currently have an initial roster of four player characters, approximately 40 items, and a moderately sized collection of initial character abilities and traits. Players can already complete quests and unlock gated content.」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「After Early Access the price may increase depending on the content that has been added to the final version.」

在開發過程中，您打算如何與社群互動？

「We want to be in touch with our players throughout the entire development. We have an active Discord server which we moderate personally and on which our community is discussing the current version of the game. We always have our eyes on the Steam forums where we read every post and try to gather as much feedback as possible.」
