«All the crucial systems are already functioning in 'Bootstrap Island' upon the Early Access launch — realistic physics, simulation systems for fire and water, and various ways to interact with the environment, such as climbing and swimming. The world is open, allowing players to approach their goals as they see fit. Each gameplay session is unique, with players discovering man-made objects from the shipwreck, exotic fruits, and creatures from nature. It's up to them to use these findings in creative ways to ensure their survival during the terrifying nights when predators become active. Longer survival unlocks new items to further improve your chances.
Each player has their own story based on the decisions made in the game. Players can compare their progress on the global leaderboard.»
