"We are still making Cubey's Adventure, including adding levels, storyline and various other gameplay mechanics. Here is a brief explanation of what we are creating:
• Maps: Each map will be very detailed and made from scratch, we are using no templates. This ensures a high quality look for the game but also means we can focus on the performance of the game, meaning the map loading will be made as efficient as possible.
• Story: Storyline and plot are very important, especially in an adventure game. We want to make sure everything ties together and makes sense, while also creating room for fan speculation. This will involve hiring dedicated writers including a few VAs.
• VA: In order to make the world of Cubey's Adventure feel as real as possible, we will be hiring Voice Actors to bring the characters to life. These voice lines will most likely only appear in the full release of the game as it will be the very last thing we work on.
• Graphics: In 2022, the aesthetics of a game is one of the most focused-on factor, so we really need to get it right. This means getting the right balance of realism and cartoonism (definitely a real word) in order to keep the fictional, fun feeling throughout the game. As mentioned before, we also need the graphics to be adjustable in order to ensure stable FPS on different devices, including consoles and PCs of different tiers.

This is, in a nutshell, why we are releasing this game in early access. We want people to see the game before it is fully created as the outcome of the full game relies on what people want to see so, if you do try our game, please do consider leaving feedback either through reviews or by contacting us directly. Por quanto tempo aproximadamente este jogo estará em acesso antecipado?

"The game will be in early access until we are 100% sure it is ready for release and, in short, we don't know how long that could be. Optimistically, it could be released by Q3 2023, but of course we don't want to have our own Cyberpunk 2077 do we. As well as quality, the other factor determining the official release date is my own education and career. At the moment I am in full-time education which, unfortunately, I need to give highest priority meaning development will be a lot slower than professional studios, especially those with multiple developers. Basically just wait and see, it might be finished in less than a decade..."

Como a versão completa será diferente da versão de acesso antecipado?

"The full release version of Cubey's Adventure will feature the full game, including the story-mode and multiplayer modes. Everything will be cleaned up, optimised and ready for everyone to play. The main difference between the EA version and the full version is the content of the game. The content used in the early access game will always be changing, whether that is scene size, detail or just the general look, the release version will feel more complete altogether."

Qual é o estado atual da versão de acesso antecipado?

Currently, the Early Access version of the game includes a simple base level which showcases the general gameplay mechanics but no storyline. Most of the more experimental features are being left in the beta for obvious reasons, but everything we are ready to show you that is just not quite perfected, or not quite feeling complete, will be in the game. The game does feature a simple GUI to modify input, graphics and audio settings and an exit button (something I somehow missed out last time)."

O preço do jogo será alterado após o fim do acesso antecipado?

"At the moment, the Early Access game is free to play, however, it will most likely not be this way when released. The actual price of the game won't be much, it will be more than affordable and I will 100% NOT be releasing any paid DLCs. But until I finish the game, it's all yours for free :)"

Como vocês planejam envolver a comunidade durante o processo de desenvolvimento?

"What the community wants is exactly what will be in the game, that's the whole point of having any community input at all. We will always take your opinions into account while developing the game."
