One Million Wishlists Achieved! Closed Beta Access Giveaway

Operation Lovecraft has achieved one million wishlists on Steam!🎉 As an adult-only project with zero marketing budget this is miraculous to us. Seeing an 18+ restricted game amongst recognizable masterpieces in the top wishlisted list feels kind of unreal.

Due to our decision to not release a half-finished game on Steam through Early Access but instead to officially release when it is satisfactorily completed, the development progress has been hazy to many folks who have been following us. We’ve recently upgraded Operation Lovecraft to Unreal Engine 5 and added controller support. The VR version of Harem Mode will be added in the upcoming 0.8.5 release. Update 0.9.0 will introduce core gameplay aspects with the combat system, and will be the last major update before official release.

We’re pushing hard to improve & polish the game as quickly as possible, and we’d like to thank everyone who helped with crowdfunding and closed beta testing, as well as you who are reading this.

We are giving away 50 closed beta access keys on our official Operation Lovecraft Twitter. If a winner already has access to the closed beta test, they will receive a free Harem mode Advanced Research Pass. CLOSED BETA 0.8.2d PATCH NOTES

Greetings, Researchers! We’re hosting our first screenshot contest over on our Discord server[discord.com], and invite everyone to submit screenshots to enter. The top 10 will receive prizes such as Neo England Pounds in Harem Mode, and voters will have a chance to earn extra Likes.

Closed Beta Patch 0.8.2 includes the largest update to Harem Mode since its refactoring. We upgraded the game engine to Unreal Engine 5, removed the Sanity system, and added new investigator Juzi with 52 accompanying sex scenes.

Juzi is the elder sister of the AI twins embedded in the deep space transport ship Zhenghe, responsible for the colony's construction and architecture design. The Zhenghe, en route to Yuggoth from Titan, will be converted into the new synchronous orbital command center to succeed the Archimedes Station after it enters planetary orbit. Contrary to her quiet, more temperamental sister Yanshi, Juzi is flamboyant and flinty. She is a perfectionist to the core, immensely dedicated to refining her designs like a wholehearted artisan and unwilling to overlook any flaw in her creation, no matter how miniscule. Expect a stern lecturing if she catches you slacking off!

Changes:

The Sanity system was originally intended to control concurrently online player numbers to reduce server load until the game’s back-end refactoring was completed. Now that it’s no longer needed post-0.8.2 we’ve removed the Sanity system entirely, and login time will no longer affect in-game resources.
Advanced Research Pass: Juzi and her costume customization options have been added.
New experimental subjects: Saaitti’s Revenant, Mi-Go Adult, Shantak.
Added optional skins for Dreamer and Hound of Tindalos.
Added controller support.
Added first-person view camera.
The number of points required to level up in a character pass has been lowered from 150 to 100.
Players can now preview all characters in-menu before purchasing any corresponding Premium Passes.
Xeno experiments are now accessible in Erotes Nightclub.
Players can select from additional Do Not Disturb options: hide all other players, hide players using xeno experiments, hide players using human only experiments.
Cognitive Filters now increase the player’s weekly pass progression limit by 200 points after use. Elizabeth’s skill Silver Key now increases the weekly pass progression limit by 5 points after the first orgasm of each day.
Lesbian experiments can now be obtained from character-specific blueprints from both investigators involved.
Obtaining duplicate blueprints will provide Affinity points for the corresponding investigator/s involved in addition to data fragments.
Simultaneous orgasms will increase the Affinity of the investigator by 2 points, or 1 in the case of a lesbian experiment.This can happen up to 5 times daily. Drinking Affinity gain has been adjusted to 2 points, and also counts towards the daily Affinity gain limit with simultaneous orgasms.
NEP can now be used to obtain costumes.
The number of data fragments required to synthesize experiments have increased.
Players can now filter experiments to show those owned and not yet owned.
Optimized interactions with investigators in bondage. Players will no longer be able to access actions on the opposite side of the wall when selecting positions.
When starting an experiment, investigators will remove as little clothing as they can.
Players can enter Inspect Mode and give Likes during experiments.
Optimized adaptive scaling and line break logic for some languages.
Adjusted Elizabeth and Celia’s running animations and all investigator’s stairs animations.
Optimized the mailbox to prevent mail from opening & loading too slowly.
Adjusted skin textures at high skin saturation and wetness. Investigator’s skin will no longer look like shiny plastic.
Added new lighting, shadow, and HDR options.
Optimizations to some sound, motions, and UI.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed an issue where an investigator’s belly remained expanded after expelling semen.
Fixed an issue where tabbing out of the game using Alt + Tab would cause sound effects and backgrounds to disappear.
Fixed the deformation and texture issues of some costumes.
Fixed an issue where pleasure gains would behave abnormally when multiple players had sex with the same investigator in bondage at the same time.
Fixed some display issues in ultra-wide screen resolutions.
Fixed abnormal resolution issues when pole dancing.
Fixed incorrect volume settings when entering Harem Mode.
Fixed an issue where the Simultaneous Climax button would be difficult to click in some cases during experiments.
Fixed an issue where changing clothes in the Changing Room menu would prevent players from exiting the Changing Room.

As this is the first Unreal 5 playable version of Operation Lovecraft, there are likely to be bugs aplenty. Please feel free to report them on our bug tracking Github[github.com]!

In upcoming updates we will add rewards related to the Affinity system: pubic hair and finger/toenail customization features, mouth gags, etc. Full VR support for Harem Mode will be introduced in 0.8.5.

CLOSED BETA 0.7.8b PATCH NOTES

Happy holidays! Update 0.7.8b is complete and available for download in the closed beta branch. We have mostly finished the optimization work and have started preparing for the release of Research Pass: Juzi before 2024 Lunar New Year.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed an issue where some sound effects were not affected by volume settings.
Fixed issues with certain poses in cumflated state.
Fixed various clothing clipping issues.
Gallery mode bug fixes.
Fixed an issue where some buttons were lacking click effects and sounds.
Wetness on penis is now correctly enabled, especially in blowjob scenes. Please note that it is a work-in-progress feature currently missing on some monsters.
Exhausted sex scenes will now use correct facial expressions.

Adjustments:

Game loading speed increased by 300%.
RAM usage decreased by 50%.
Settings and outfit customization UI improvements.
Adjusted the maximum duration of cum stains.
Increased cumshot load for some male test subjects.
Player ID will now be properly displayed in the Experiment Analyzing animation.
Adjusted the climax expressions for operation table sex scenes.
Optimized the lag when clicking "Start" to enter the lobby.
Optimized the transition effect of the research pass interface, adding a full-screen UI animation.
Specified the types of special actions during sex scenes.
Optimized the interaction experience with another player’s avatar restrained in a bondage device.
Repair gel can now be used during sex scenes.
Breast physics improvements when half nude.
Experimental environment lighting customizable with HDR settings.

Additions:

Added teleportation VFX when ending sex scenes.
Added shortcuts for clothing customization.
Added a blur effect when switching camera modes.
Added a Bug Report button to the lobby main menu, next to the LINK PATREON button.
Added the option to set the max framerate limit.
Added a button to reset female body customizations.
Added 4 new Dr.Anya sex scenes and 1 new Elizabeth sex scene.
Nemed Costume Shop for Christmas is now reopened! You may claim the Christmas outfits for the investigators in harem mode before January 24th.

Seriously people, what does it take to recognise this is a scam. The offered play does not come close to what is advertised, there have been no updates for almost a year. you have to subscribe to a monthly subscription on Patreon that is WAY over the average price to get access to what, a beta play that is still not playable anywhere near what they advertise? These people are taking the piss! That's Aussie lingo for having a laugh, taking you for a ride, pulling the chain, whatever the ♥♥♥♥ translation ...
