為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Retro Gadgets is a cozy environment where to build and share Gadgets. We have been working on the game for a couple of years and we believe we reached a point where it has enough features to be a great creative experience.

However, a game like this REALLY needs community feedback to evolve in the right direction, and we think Early Access is a great opportunity to do so.」

「Until we are happy and confident with the features included in the game. Ideally about one year, but this could change.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「The complete version will have more features, more content, and be better polished.

We want to add modules, content creation tools, and the ability to generate content from retro gadgets that you can use independently on your computer.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「You can build gadgets, paint them and code them. You can also share them with the community. The basic features are there. We have a pixel art editor but we are missing tools for the creation of audio. We also want to improve the game's capability to import and export content.」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「Our current plan is to increase the price of the game once the Early Access is complete. People that choose to support us early in development will get the game at a reduced price.」

在開發過程中，您打算如何與社群互動？

「Community feedback will be invaluable to help us build better tools for Gadget Creation. We have set up a community discord where we will be gathering feedback and interacting with the players on a day-to-day basis. You can join the Discord here」

You look up from your cosy little workbench. It's dark out, what time is it? It doesn't matter; you've been in the flow and are adding the final touches to your latest retro gadget. Just one more line of code, a spray of paint here, a sticker there – it's done. You power it on... The start-up sound kicks in... the needles on the gauges flutter, and the screen lights up... it's glorious. It's ready to share with the world. Now, all it needs is a name.

Tinker, test and lose track of time at your friendly pixel art workbench. Everything feels tactile and satisfying to use. Open drawers to find what you need. Solder and paint. Print and place stickers with tweezers. Connect parts with magnets. Twist knobs, tap buttons, flick switches. Trust us, you've never played anything like this!
