Why Early Access?

“At FerreroDev we have an ambitious vision for BuriBoard and we feel the project would be greatly benefited if we had direct contact with the playerbase along the development process.

This way we would benefit from valuable feedback, ideas and opinions that would help shape the final product and create something special.

For this reason alone, we decided to release BuriBoard as early access.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is estimated to be in early access for 1 year before full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Much is expected to change during the development process!

- We plan on introducing more content such as missions, timed events, collectibles and more.
- We are currently working on improving the grinding mechanic. It is currently not physics-based and that is something we totally cannot accept for the final release. Hence in future updates the grinding system will be entirely replaced by a more realistic one;
- There will be a wider range of customization options. We plan on introducing more wheels, trucks, bases, decks and grips to be fully customizable. We want to make every fingerboard feel special and personal;
- We will add more boards to play with;
- We will increase the number of available skateparks;
- Animations will be replaced for better ones;
- Ambient and fingerboard sounds will be replaced.

We also intend to work on the feedback from the playerbase and implement requested features that we feel would improve BuriBoard.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We are very proud of the current state of BuriBoard!
The current version of the game features a fully playable fingerboarding game with minimal to no bugs and issues.

Here are some of the available features:

- Flickit controls (all tricks are executed by performing gestures with your right thumb)
- Over 60+ tricks (ground, air, grab and grind tricks);
- 3 large maps (2 desert and 1 warehouse map);
- 2 playable fingerboards;
- Full board customization (You can apply different colors to the following skate parts: Wheels, Trucks, Bases, Deck and Grip);
- Multiple camera lenses and effects;
- Talent tree (You can upgrade your board to make it jump higher or roll faster using this talent tree).

The current version of BuriBoard is lightweight and highly stable.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game is offered today at discounted price. Once the full release is up the price is expected to increase.”
