Why Early Access?

“Our goal is to make Whimsical Heroes the best experience possible before its full release. Early Access allows us to gather valuable community feedback and refine the game's mechanics, balance, and content based on real player experiences.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the Early Access phase to last around 1.5 years, but this timeframe may change depending on the refinements needed to perfect the gameplay. Our goal is to deliver the best possible version of the game, so the development schedule may be adjusted based on progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include a lot of new content—new locations, heroes, enemies, and even entirely new lands. We will refine and expand existing mechanics while fine-tuning gameplay balance based on your feedback.

We also plan to regularly share roadmaps detailing upcoming changes in future updates.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core systems and features described in the About This Game section are already in place. Whimsical Heroes currently offers two distinct game modes: Story Mode, which introduces players to the world and its mechanics, and Adventure Mode, featuring randomly generated challenges for a fresh and unpredictable experience.

With the foundation set, our focus for the full release is on expanding both modes—introducing new characters, enemies, worlds, items, events, story chapters, and much more.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“By the time of its official release, the game will have received substantial new content and features. Due to this expansion, a slight price increase is planned.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

About This Game



In a land once flowing with milk and honey, resources suddenly began to run out. Sensing the impending end of the world as they knew it, the three heroes embark on a journey through unknown lands to uncover the mystery behind this life-sustaining energy crisis.

Conquer all in tactical, turn-based battles set on a hexagonal grid. Lead a team of cartoon heroes - the brave bean explorer, the fluffy cat defender, and the onion musician from distant realms - through a series of adventures in Whimsical Heroes!

Story and Roguelike Modes

  • Adventure Mode (Inspired by Roguelike systems) - Choose three heroes and travel through a land that looks different with each playthrough. Heroes will acquire new skills and encounter various characters, offering fresh challenges every time you play.
