Varför Early Access?

“The game world we have in mind is rich and intricate, and the very nature of the project involves adding content to make the experience more complete. During the EA phase we would like to gather feedback from the community to further improve City 20 and make it an even more satisfying gaming experience.”

“We plan for Early Access to last approximately 12 months. It could vary depending on the feedback we receive.”

“In addition to fixes and improvements in balance and core gameplay, we plan to work on new game mechanics and items. We also plan to work on expanding the lore and introduce co-op multiplayer.”

“The Early Access version is a playable sandbox featuring a map composed of several biomes and inhabited by 2 factions. The main key gameplay features (survival, crafting, relationships system, ecosystem simulator, game AI system) are done.
Our ongoing efforts with the game include finding and fixing bugs, as well as fine tuning the experience to ensure it is balanced.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Yes, the price will increase when Early Access ends. We might also have some minor gradual increases during Early Access, but only if new major features are released.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“The community's suggestions will be carefully analyzed to shape and enrich our game. These can be left on our discussion boards on Steam and on the dedicated channel on our own Discord Server.

The schedule for updates that we plan to work on will be announced through Devlogs and Community Updates.”

City 20, a secret nuclear city quarantined after a radioactive leak and left to starve.
As one of the survivors inhabiting City 20 years after the accident, you must survive within this sandbox, using the environment and society to your advantage.
You are completely free to choose how to play and what to do, but be aware: the world actively adapts and changes depending on your actions.
It is up to you to work with or against the world.



Never the same game twice.
Shape a unique experience by interacting with the game world:
  • Build relationships with factions
  • Contribute to improve or worsen social tension
  • Work together or clash with NPCs
  • Maintain or break the balance of nature

The world has limited resources, so make the most out of them to enrich your equipment.
Remember, it is not always possible to get out of bad situations without the use of force, being prepared will increase your chances of survival.



Each NPC has specific traits, desires, needs and routines that make them unique.
Each of them has a role and relationships within society: helping, killing, stealing or even just interfering with their routine can lead to desired or unexpected consequences.
By completing their requests you will receive rewards, improving your relationship with them, but with the possibility of harming others.

Be a model citizen and acquire resources through honest work, or commit crimes risking being reported to the authorities.
If you do not pay for your crimes, you will be banished from the faction and lose all of the privileges and benefits, such as access to specific shops, structures and crafting.
