Miksi Early Access?

Cubzh is a community-driven project. Involving users as soon and as much as possible is critical, that's why Early Access appears to be an obvious choice!
It's way smoother for both testers and ourselves. We used to request hundreds of keys every week and make our users wait. But it generated a lot of frustration and we certainly missed awesome feedback and crazy ideas.

How we want to build Cubzh will users will live on for ever, even after the 1.0 release. :)

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We don't have a specific release date planned, but we would like to release Cubzh in 2023.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

Planned features for the full version:

- Avatar editor
- Allowing you to create your own custom character is the next step in our development roadmap.

- World editor with item and script galleries
- It's already possible to create your own Worlds in the current version of Cubzh, however we're working on an improved World editor that will make it easier, faster and more intuitive. The World editor will embed a gallery to browser user created items.

- Sound effects and music
- No music and small selection of sound effects are available yet. But this is of course on our todo list, including in-game music creation.

- In-game currency
- There will be an in-game currency. It can be spent to unlock special perks such as emotes, exclusive items, private servers, etc.

These are them most important things missing. But we do have other ideas and also love to hear about yours!

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

In the current version, it is already possible to :

- Visit worlds created by the community
- Use the item editor to create items or environments with cubes
- Create, code and share your own worlds

No, the game will remain downloadable for free after the early access.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

There is a "feedback" button within the application, displayed in most menus. There is also regular information on Steam through the publication of update changelogs.

We are also very active on our ([Discord server][/https://cu.bzh/discord]), it's a great place to share ideas or get some help. Feel free to join us, even if it's just to greet the team!
