Hvorfor tidlig tilgang?

«Elerena needs to be in early access due to the fact that I would like a lot of feedback on this game since I feel feedback is an essential part of game design; since I am by myself as of right now, it is hard for me to be unbiased and critical about certain aspects of the game at times and so having a community would help with giving me feedback. Another reason Elerena needs to be in Early Access is that I am hoping that I can find some talented individuals who can help me develop the game. As a developer, I hold a lot of skills, but I am not an expert in most; this means that Elerena will not be as clean and visually pleasing as I would like it to be unless I can find some individuals to assist me with this project.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«Elerena will be in Early Access until a few dungeons are completely done and a majority of the hard work is done on the development side (dungeon and player mechanics, narrative implementation, AI implementation, and spell mechanics). Full aesthetics including enemies, spells, and environments will not need to be done but some base aesthetics for the game will be needed before a released version to have a visual aesthetic established. I believe this is accomplishable within 6 months of work but just to be safe, I will say that the game will have a full release date sometime in January or February of 2022.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«I plan to use the early access version to test out the spells, enemies, environments, and narrative elements to an audience that can give feedback to me compared to the full version which will only have the refined aspects of the game and will not have anything that hasn't been thoroughly tested in the early access version. Upon release, I plan to keep the playtest/early access available as a public beta testing ground for new content for the full released game.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The current state of the early access version is a Freeplay mode and a dungeon mode with access to 3 different spell classes. The Freeplay mode lets players test out the controls and get a feel for how the game plays; the dungeon mode allows players to test out their combat skills against 10 waves of enemies.»

Vil spillet være priset annerledes under og etter tidlig tilgang?

«As of right now, I plan on releasing the game for free for both the Early Access and full version of the game.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«I plan on actively participating in our community discord and Reddit community; in these communities, I plan on engaging with players by asking them about their opinions on the game, asking what could be improved and removed to make the experience better, and having regular tournaments (if possible).»

Elerena is a magic-based dungeon crawler that hosts a variety of magic and enemies. With currently three different schools of magic that offer unique and interesting playstyles, and more as the game thrives, there is a type of magic for everyone to enjoy as they rain down hell on the enemies they face.

Game Modes
Available Game Modes currently include a Freeplay game mode and a Dungeon game mode. In the Freeplay game mode, the player can run around and practice the controls and better understand how their spells work in a combat scenario. In the Dungeon game mode, the player must survive against ten waves of enemies in a hectic combat environment
