Why Early Access?

“We’ve decided to release our game in Early Access because we believe it provides a unique opportunity for us to gather valuable feedback from a larger audience. By sharing our game with passionate players who are interested in our genre, we hope to receive feedback that can help us improve the game's mechanics, features, and overall fun factor. Even though we’ve conducted a lot of internal testing and made significant progress on the game, we know that there’s always space for improvement. We want to ensure that our game meets the expectations of our gamers, which is why we’re eager to hear their opinions. Gunsmithing is an expansive discipline, and our game aims to simulate it as accurately as possible. However, with such rich subject matter, we have to carefully select the features and mechanics that we’ll include in the game. That's why we're inviting our community to help us prioritize which aspects of gunsmithing they'd like to see added to the game first.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our superior goal is to ensure the game is stable and polished before the full release. As a development team, we understand that the length of Early Access can vary based on factors such as the game's scope, feedback received, and available resources. If only minor changes are necessary, Early Access will be shorter, but if significant changes are required based on player feedback, it may take longer. Currently, we estimate that the Early Access period for our game will be around 6-8 months. We'll closely monitor your feedback and make adjustments as needed to achieve this goal.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to have:

• more guns, including flintlock historical firearms,
  
• more workstations like antique cleaning, photography studio and workbench drill
  
• more things you can create using CNC, Lathe, Woodworking,
  
• user-generated content through Steam Workshop: adding your own colors, patterns, and attachments
  
• rankings on shooting ranges
  
• controller support

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of the game is currently in a fully playable state with all core systems and features working as intended. We've had the game beta tested for 6 months by a few hundred supporters and have been working on it for a total of 3 years. There are currently 14 gun models available with different configurations that require up to 13 different operations to fix or customize. In addition, our workshop features 12 fully equipped workstations, including assembly, cleaning, customization, painting, sandblasting, bluing, woodworking, wood finishing, CNC, lathe, and testing table. Players can test their guns in the workshop and on various shooting ranges against different targets, including static and moving targets, skeet clays, CQB targets, and destruction test targets.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We have no plans to change the pricing of the game during or after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll involve the community in our development process through different channels such as our official Discord server where players can chat with developers and other community members to give direct feedback on pressing issues. Additionally, we'll closely monitor the forum and take note of comments that come up frequently or have a lot of support. Players will also be able to submit feedback and bug reports directly in-game, helping us quickly address any issues. We believe community involvement is crucial to creating a game that gamers will enjoy, so we'll listen closely to everyone's feedback and make improvements based on what people say.”
