End-User License Agreement (EULA) for Hours After Midnight
Welcome to Hours After Midnight! By installing, accessing, or using this software, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this End-User License Agreement (EULA).
Please read this agreement carefully before proceeding.
1. License Grant:
Subject to the terms of this agreement, the Just Enough Methods grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software solely for your personal entertainment purposes. This license does not grant you any ownership rights to the software.
2. Restrictions:
You agree not to:
a. Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the software, except for the creation of community-made modifications expressly authorized by the developer for the purpose of enhancing the gameplay experience within the bounds of fair play and integrity. Any attempts to exploit this allowance for unauthorized activities such as creating cheats or reverse engineering for personal gain are strictly prohibited and will result in consequences as outlined in this agreement.
b. Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, hacks, or any unauthorized third-party software that may modify or unfairly interfere with the gameplay experience. Community-made modifications that do not provide an unfair advantage over other players are permitted. This includes modifications that circumvent intended gameplay mechanics or give users an unfair advantage over others. However, modifications that extend mechanics, add new content, or enhance the overall gameplay experience are allowed.
Please note that the installation and use of third-party modifications, including community-made mods, are not officially supported by us. We do not provide technical support or assistance for the installation, usage, or troubleshooting of third-party modifications. Any modification or alteration made to the game by third-party software is done at the user's own risk, and we are not liable for any issues or consequences resulting from such modifications.
c. Use the software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
3. Ownership:
The software, including all intellectual property rights therein, is and shall remain the exclusive property of the Just Enough Methods. You acknowledge that you have no ownership or proprietary rights in or to the software, except as expressly provided in this agreement.
4. Updates and Modifications:
a. Just Enough Methods reserves the right to release updates, patches, or modifications to the software at its sole discretion. By continuing to use the software, you agree to accept and install such updates.
b. Just Enough Methods may update this EULA from time to time to reflect changes in the software or legal requirements. Any updates to the EULA will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the software after the posting of the updated EULA constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
5. Termination:
This license is effective until terminated. The Just Enough Methods reserves the right to terminate this license at any time if you breach any of the terms of this agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software and destroy all copies in your possession.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty:
The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Just Enough Methods disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of Liability:
In no event shall the Just Enough Methods be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use or inability to use the software, even if the Just Enough Methods has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall the Just Enough Methods's total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the software.
8. Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
